I'm not sure why, but I really like Yukari's voice.... It's deeper than most female anime characters have, and not so... squeaky? Shrill? Either way, I like it.

the atmosphere in this anime is so unique that opening scene where arashi was following yukari would definitely have some kind of cheery background music to make it more comedic if it was in any other anime, lol
kevin jordan I wouldn’t say it’s high fashion, at least not these days. Thats actually my industry. That style of bang is not very common because of it’s difficulty to pull off. But to each their own!
I actually read the first manga more than 5 years ago and fell in love with it. I forgot the name of the manga until I saw it as a recommendation and now am so excited that there is episodes! And not just one. Woooop!!!!

i get it tho, when your watching some of the scenes you feel as if youre hallucinating, the scenes are some beautiful and dreamlike it makes you daydream but youre so utterly focused on the show as a whole. i think george's over the top old car somes up the whole mood of the anime to the funky op to the bitter ending. i feel like paradise kiss intoxicates you much like nana, the dramatic yet blatant vibe ,the much 90s new york feeling, being so outgoing yet at the same time being so faint, its like it never existed but its right there in front of your face. its like a drug, making you high, you know its bad for your heart but you cant stop cause its so addicting. dont know if its just me cause i like and often tend to daydream but i totally get what you mean. i also watched it back then in a period of my life and im glad i came across it
his look , his sharp eyes , his tip nose , his dark skin that matches with his minty hair perfectly , his beautiful fedora , his sexy top , his excellent clothing fashion. Yes I see why we all love him. First time I find a name like George so smexy.

Impulsively watched the whole episode after putting it off for ages, and I'm so so glad I finally started it, I loved it so much, and I can tell how much I will like it after finishing Nana. Also, if I had a nickel for every time an anime series used a Franz Ferdinand song for their intro or outro, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but its weird that it happened twice.
The Clothes that they design and make are beautiful i like how their character designs and personalities/temperaments are different. I like how somewhat diverse they are with their looks and thoughts also reactions.
yup, the manga was made by Ai Yazawa :) you can find it online. It's realy worth reading ! All of Ai's works are amazing, like Neighbourhood story - the one were Miako's sister is featured and her soon to be husband and all her frends. I highly recommend reading them ♡
I LOVE this anime, its so unique in its own way. I watched this 4 years ago and I cant still get it out of my head, and especially coz it has a VERY sad ending.
I've tried watching this anime before and i didn't finish it last time. honestly i have a really hard time swallowing this kind of anime because the main guy is so cold and manipulative. his disinterested attitude completely turns me off.. probably because I'm always interested in the romantic aspect of an anime. he just plays with her the whole time and it makes me feel so bothered i can't finish it. I've literally just started watching the first 15 minutes of this episode and already i can't handle it. great art and I'm sure the characters are wonderful and dynamic but i guess i need something a little more lighthearted.
This anime is really diffrent from the average love stories where the hero ends up with the heroine, get married and have a bunch of kids. Personally I find this anime amazing and refreshing. And as a spoiler, they don't end up together. It's more realistic and slice of life type and that's really cool. There aren't many realistic animes such as this out there, and if you like the light romantic ones you probably shouldn't watch paradise kiss. Maybe Ouran High School Host Club or something along the lines :)
Spoiler! In the end, you find out he really did love her when he left all his dresses to her. But only at the end. Because that’s how real life works though isn’t it? Everything always happens too late. But that’s life.
That’s how I feel about nana. Tbh life is too sad and I use anime/shows/books as an escape. Which is why I like reading stuff with happier endings. It keeps me hopeful and puts me in a happier mood

Aside from that it's the first anime I've seen where the couple didn't end up together. It reminded me that this is what real life is. And George is bi. It's nit something common in a male character for a romance those days. It kinda open y eyes for many different kinds of people. It was really interesting

It holds a very special place in my heart and I will be forever grateful to Ai Yazawa for spreading magic of fashion. I'm not anymore interested in mainstream fashion but I'm still connected to this world. Fictional work of art can change your life. I'm the living proof of that!
