- So there's this code in the European version of New Play Control! Pikmin 2 that lowers the pitch of the in-game music. It doesn't seem to do JUST that though. Side effects include decreased pitch in sound effects, off-key music, and the ability to reduce me to freaking tears.
Gecko code used (European version of New Play Control! Pikmin 2 only):
04539D80 3F600000
0453A200 3F600000
Apologies for the cursor being constantly on the corner. Dolphin is weird.
666 Pikmin in the field
Imagine the Submerged Castle music...
oh god
Is this the call of the devil in pikmin 2
Its hilarious how pikmin now sound like literal people.
I mean, that's how they were voiced.
This actually sounds pretty dope. How would you do this in audacity?
Espyo and grass digger videos on the same day? What is this madness
Oh, I haven't seen his yet. Oh boy oh boy oh boy!
These are no longer pik boys, they have become pik men!
Now an entire playthrough of this!
When the pikmin get grabbed in the bulborb's jaws, it sounds like a bootleg version of the original sound effect.
Yamete kudasai :v
I just realize, Pikmin with the spicy effect drown faster
picmen are so cute dont you think so
ICE COLD 46 What the heck is a Picmen?
This is cursed AF.
How did this glitch happen?
Oh my god thank you. I was wondering who was still doing modding for hacks n' stuff for Pikmin 2, and I'm glad to see you're still at it! I'd love to contribute, but the learning curve seems rather steep... I only got experience modding Smash games, damnit! Amazing work still, I love it! Never stop doing this!
Thanks! Although this video IS only about activating an old Action Replay code.
But actually, the Pikmin modding scene is the most alive it's ever been. Hackers and modders have been getting together a lot over the past few days, and bring with them recommendations for more hackers and modders, and so on. Everybody's been joining this Pikmin Discord server discord.gg/pBzbnt7 You can keep up with the latest modding shenanigans there.
If you want to join the scene as well, well... While the learning curve is pretty darn steep, if you already have experience with modding Smash, then you know the basics, which is good. From there, you can probably get a lot done with a bit of Pikmin technical knowledge. I've started a knowledge base some months ago with the hopes of helping newcomers and veterans, so you can check out the tutorials here to help you get started, hopefully. pikmintkb.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page Hope to see you around!
1:31 LMAO
Is this a code in the game or a gameshark?
Interesting.
