They both say “I never know what to do with my hands at parties” at the beginning of the series and the end. It makes me laugh. Man I’m gonna miss BoJack
Not only that, the endings of this show’s first and last episodes book-end their association with each other. The end of a relationship which remained platonic against all the odds.
*The best television shows can inspire, pique curiosities, or be a good reminder, because even a reminder is more than just a reminder* I think of Bojack, The Simpsons, Futurama, Archer, Animaniacs, and so on... Creative serialized works
I came back to this video to cry, Diane and Bojack are the two characters that really spoke to me and I related to the most in my life, and to see the show end on those two broke me. I thank my lucky stars that I managed to live in a lifetime where the Bojack Horseman show exists. The Bojack Horseman show is over and everything is worse now...
hi I read the description. Just so you know it’s not bad to get attached to fictional characters. They sometimes teach us more than actual people do. This show meant a lot to many people, me included, and it doesn’t make u a “child” or “immature” to be attached to these characters.. to this show. These characters have all grown and we were able to watch that and enjoy that and learn from it. And that I think is a beautiful thing.
@@uncomfortablecat ive tried posting it too. i dont get it cause so many people have posted clips from the season, i dont get why this particular scene wont.
This was such a great scene, however their last encounter on the roof in season 6 hit me like no other. 3rd time watching through & still my favorite show. As much as I don’t relate to Bojack’s life, there’s so many dark things in his mind that I can’t help but reflect into mine. Although it’s been a long journey, it’s been one with so much potential for accomplishment once I reach my peace. Looking forward to it.
i just realized that the ending would feel so much different is they looked at each other at the same time on the last second i always lowkey shipped them, either as friends or a couple, but they bring out the worst in each other. i know i have to be happy about their character growth, but maybe im not there yet mentally to appreciate it
Yeah I always imagined that, they look at each other then black screen or they look at each other smile then end or they laugh midway through the song and then when they're laugh dies down, end scene.
Well that didn't happen, but notice how just before credits roll, Diane leans just a bit to her left and Bojack to his right. That's enough for me. I ship them, I ship them so much. But that ending was perfect. And it's enough.
No don’t do that. Diane has moved on for the better, in life you hurt people and people are allowed to move on without you. Sometimes you are left behind- alone
@@uncomfortablecat unfortunately, that's how the series ends and we'll never know for sure. But with all the character development he's had, I believe whatever relationship he gets into next will be good for him. I suppose that's all we can hope for ourselves.
@@amunetxo627 that's comforting. I've spent some time alone to get to know myself long before I ever had Netflix. I would want Bojack Horseman to find someone (or multiple someone's) like I did. Eventually.
Is it? Bojack has friends that care about him, and knows that the most important person in his life is thriving, even if it’s without him. He’s on the road to getting better, and that’s as good as life ever gets.
To be honest I was super high and depressed during the time I watched this . I was kinda surprised that I've watched it all the ending was satisfying. It's like the year 2020 itself is a chaotic field of feeling bummed But the trumpets are nice and yeah try Laura Nyros Mr blue. Its not the same lyrics but goot .
Michelle if you're reading this I'm sorry I more or less threw our friendship away. It was nice while it lasted. Would've loved to finish this show with you.
Bojack Horseman is over...and everything may seem worse now, but it doesn’t have to be, not as long as you’re still alive. Mental issues, addiction, relationship problems, politics, world events-as long as you’re alive and as long as you’re willing, you can keep going through anything life throws at you. In short, if I may hearken back to a certain jogging baboon: “It gets easier. But you have to do it every day. That’s the hard part. But it does get easier.”
You might be THE only person to ever point that out, ever. Not even Bojack, the person with absolute lack of self awareness made a joke at expense of Diane gaining weight, guess you really missed out on the whole point of it.
wouldn’t it be funny if this was the last time we talked to eachother?
Right in the feels.
That made me scream EFF OFF to my pc
They probably did :(
why wasnt this quote in this video!
@@catashtrophe0 right?

Same. My friend told me to watch S01EP12 before i watch the finale.
It was a very Happy-Sad hour of my life.
Uncomfortable Cat I feel you
Their friendship started and ended on a rooftop

Woah
Bojack has had a bad experience looking at the stars ever since the planetarium. Here he chooses to look at it again, I think he has grown.
I completely missed this observation!
@@jericojsays honestly same!
@@jericojsays it also might be applied to the picture he creates for Beatrice at the end of 04x11
the one dislike is from erika because she never got any screentime during the show
LeL
she doesn't need that. she is the star of her own show
Hey look, it's ERICA!
This show has the power to change lives. It certainly changed mine.
It truly does I jus got done watching all the seasons for the 6th time and every time it always helps me push through hard times

Absolutely it talks about you more intimately than you know yourself, in that way you get to know yourself better by it

The Bojack Horseman show is over and everything is worse now...
S5e6, that was the best episode
I like how the “I know” and “I’m sorry that sounded awful” felt connected as if it was the same conversation

ygovia watched the whole series for the past 6 years and grew up on it, i’ve learned SO much from this show
Why does nobody have that full ending rooftop scene? There was some deep stuff there. Good clips tho
Netflix keep copyrighting* it. I am still surprised that they haven't taken this down. But i will try next time.

ys m because it’s half of the episode lol
Maybe it’s to do with the fact it has the song at the end?

Mr blue is what she wanted to say to him
The only thing that made me cry for years
BoJack Horseman Is Over & Everything Might Be Okay
It will be

Is that the title of the continuation?
Funny thing is I watched the second half closer to March
I told my friend Bojack is gone and everyrthing's worse now... Man that was a strange time

Same for me, there relationship is the very reason I like the show. I don't like The fact it's better for them to not stay together.

So heartbreaking, such a great show and emotional connection with a horse ❤

I understand now. I missed the hand gesture with the ring on it. So BjH is just going to be single and alone... even in the end. That's really sad.
