I pulled my steering stem out of the bushings and greased both the upper and lower areas. It is much smoother and no longer squeaks. I can see the billet stem from Riva is high quality, but why do you use the upper plastic bushing? That really disappointed me for a part this expensive. Isn't that where much of the slop is located?
Maybe Greg can help me. I just install my riva steering column and i have a little slop/play. Need more grease? The ski is practicly brabd new 19h, so i assume the bushing is ok, but looks like the play comes from the bushing. Yours have a little play?
Appreciate the video! I was wondering on these machines with a stage 1+ or 2 setup, some call for an intake manifold girdle. If I have a bov does that stop me from needing an intake girdle?
No! I’ve seen bone stock skis with busted intake manifolds. I highly recommend the girdle on all Sea-Doo’s
I got a 2018 RXTX 300 w 250 hrs what have you found with these machines if there ridden recreationally not maniacal. Like maybe 15 % at most WOT. That can be a problem. Since 1993 this is my 9th new machine. I’m brand loyal
Our skis are designed to be held WOT for as long as your fuel will last 👍
How would the sponsons help me offshore on my 2022 RXT-X 300? Do they help with handling chop and rough conditions? Living off Cali in the pacific ocean it can get sketchy and wondering if I should get them when my ski arrives in January?
They would help tremendously! Definitely a must for any rough water riding

@@GreenHulkGarage nice I'm assuming your only extra parts on st 2 are intercooler and valve spring retainers, maybe larger strainer / coolant kit ??
Intercooler, pro series cooling upgrade, intake manifold upgrade, and valve retainers
@@GreenHulkGarage nice where i live cant do the pro cooling upgrade too much seaweed , i did the simple riva drill out plastic lines easily dropped 15 degrees heat, and of course did the labor expensive ribbon delete
How do you like the Riva seat cover compared to the stock?
The RIVA seat cover is much better with a lot more grip even when it gets wet

How reliable are these skis? Im stuck between a 2022ultra 310lx or the rxp300
The ultra will likely be more reliable but they aren't really comparable skis, the RXP is faster and far more agile (and will also give you better economy, all supercharged skis are thirsty but the ultras are the worst because of their deep hull design). The RXP is a race hull while the ultra is a full size 'GT' style ski more comparable to a GTX Limited. The sea doos get a bad rap because people don't know how to treat jet drives properly so the run them in shallow water and destroy the carbon seals and wear rings with silt and debris. Any supercharged ski is going to have occasional issues, nature of the beast.
They’re all reliable. All manufacturers do have their duds but the vast majority of them never have any issues. The Ultra and RXP are two completely different animals. I’d take the RXP over the Ultra any day of the week but I like to corner at high speeds. If you prefer cruising around and rough water riding then the Ultra may be the right one for you

How often do you have to replace the Turbo or perform maintenance?
It is supercharged. The supercharger on the 300 Seadoo models will last hundreds of hours and is non serviceable
