- In this video, I attempt to finish the final chapter with Jaffar, with the absolute best stats he can get. (Getting perfect level ups each time and using every stat boosting item on him)
I first tried to solo the final chapter with a full-power Renault. Luckily, Jaffar has much better starting stats than Renault, and he begins at a lower level, too. The only stats he doesn't max out are HP and Luck.
Jaffar's main problem (or rather that of the Assassin class) is that he can only reach a maximum of 20 strength. He can activate a Death Blow critical to instantly kill anything, but how far will relying on luck take him?
Jaffar is such a man that he not only dodges, spears, swords, arrows and fireballs, but also lightning strikes, blizzards, Blackholes and EVEN light.
Would he be more of a man if he instead of dodging just was invulnerable to those things?

*Druid uses Berserk on Jaffar, who has no teammates to threaten, and no reason to stop attacking*

Ah yes, the best team. One Jaffar and five Dennings.
Now I know why Jaffar wanted to get rid of Nergal himself, there's only so much of Denning saying "This is a message from Lord Nergal. "I await you on the Dread Isle."" that a man can take.
Also it was all good until the dragon.

Actually Jaffar and Legault can both kill the Fire Dragon, but only with intense RNG abusing and at the cost of breaking the Regal Blade. Matthew is simply the only Assassin to kill the fire dragon without breaking the Regal Blade.

Unfortunately, Jaffar is only a man. To kill the dragon you need to be a god, aka HECTOR.

Jaffar is the man. He doesn't even downgrade his badassness when he join the team.
Jaffar truly is a man. But like the man he is, he also has his limitations.
And yes, that includes being able to beat dragons and unable to fall in love with someone other than a 14 year-old girl.
Granted, he didn't marry her at that age. Based on Lugh and Ray's appearances, I say they, at the VERY least, are 9, and 13 at most. Which means that Jaffar (or Erk) married her when she was 21 at least, 25 at most.
Please. He could have killed that dragon with Lethality if he had continued trying with the Killing Edge. He was just played wrong.
Also, it isn't guaranteed that he is their father, because Nino can also marry Erk.
Edit: Apparently Lethality doesn't work on the final boss. Guess he can't kill it that way after all. Too bad XD

My Matthew in one play through was ungodly. He was literally untouchable and had 60 HP. It was retarded.
Yeah, Matthew can be a beast. Mine capped Speed and Strength at about level 35. He "only" has 51HP, but almost nothing hits him anyway. his 25 Luck increases his dodge chance even further and pretty much guarantess, that no enemy is going to ever crit him.
Lost Matthew to 1 attack.

Your Matthew must have been terrible then. Assassin Matthew outpaces Jaffar easily.Never had a beast Legault. Nothing could hit him. Delphi shield meant no one could crit him. And his HP was high enough that no one would be one shotting him lol

Jaffar got off a Silencer on Nergal for my first play through. It was a thing of beauty.

It's a skill that insta-kills the opponent. The rate is half the critical rate.

Whoa. So with Killing Edge, Jaffar has an equal chance of getting a crit and hitting normally. Then, if he gets a crit, he has an equal chance of getting a silencer and a regular crit
With enough skill and speed a character can transcend to amazing heights.
Sadly without much attack they can also just never hurt some foes.

How did he kill Darin? Do crits with a killing edge sometimes just kill someone outright? It's been ages since I've played this Fire Emblem.
HoloDrake Assassins have an ability called Silencer, which allows them to one shot an enemy regardless of health. Doesn't activate on final bosses.
HoloDrake killer weapons deal 4× damage when critting instead of 3×
Also silencer skill, which is instakill as long as it deals 1 point of damage or more

+Trebig U can one shot the dragon with Luna Athos/Canas (with filla's might) or Durandal Eliwood with same boost (u need supports and good STR tho)
Holy Flame Legend Vargas Canas can't unless Canas can get a support, because Canas' magic cap is 29 and with Filla's might, he does 39 damage to the dragon. Multiply it by 3 times and Dragon will suffer only 117 damage, which will leave him with 3 HP left.
With the way that Jaffar's dodging animation looks, it seems as if he makes like Killager and just puts literally everything in his pocket.
You need to have a sound bit overlay of Linkara saying "I am a man!" when Jaffar says it. At least that's what I was expecting.

Despite not being the best character when you get him because of shortcomings of the assassin class, by far funnest character to play with. In the Limstealla battle give him a couple of killing edges and elixirs and watch him solo most the map. His crit animations make it worth it.

TheNerdyWyvern OHKO Proc. There was a 25% chance of Silencer/Assasination/Lethality proc on the hit for him to get the kill.
It's probably already been said, but the Dragon is immune to the Silencer effect. The only way an Assassin is going to kill it is with the help of Filla's Might. You might want to consider this exception to the solo rule if you feel like trying again.
Not sure you'll have enough elixirs to keep you alive though.
I'm pretty sure both series were out on the NES, but wars came out slightly before.

Seeing so many 50% crit chances not actually converting to crits just hurts. Not only that, but it's true crit, as it's 50% and it stays that way regardles of double roll RN.
My favourite part was the silencer against the 1 HP general.

I like sacred stones too, but this is good as well. In fact all the GBA Fire Emblem games are really good.
A Tactician named Lucky Pikachu i like fe7 better cuase it had over 50 chapters i think, and it makes you be part of the story, also no fire emblem can beat the animation hector, lyn, eliwood do when they use the legendary weopans.
A Tactician named Lucky Pikachu didtn like scared stones it was too short it only had like 24 chapters, the open world map didnt make up for it either, fighting monsters over and over agian gets boring, thry should of made you fight bandits, remanant ,pirates, and should of added more maps.

He most likely used a program to max his stats.
+Hongingman you don't need a program- RNG manipulation and stat boosting items are more than enough.
You can simply just use cheat codes, no need to use anything as redundant as programs
Oh, one correction. It might be possible to deal damage if you have the right supports (and of course, if said characters are in three spaces). One video showed Matthew (with heavy RNG abuse) 'soloing' the Fire Dragon, with Guy and Oswin nearby for support, letting him hit with the Regal Blade for 5 damage each time (15 on a crit; RNG abuse allowed him to crit each time).
Jaffar singlehandedly defeated every enemy including the final boss... He is truly a man among men!

Cause assassins have 2 criticals, 1 critical does triples the damage like all other criticals, and the other critical just instakills them, I believe that was what he was trying to do with the dragon, to get that instakill
The "Silencer" skill. 50% of crits kill instantly.

The reason they smiled is because part of their soul, the one nergal used to make them, is being set free from being a servant used for evil.
Denning's palette looks kinda cool on other classes. Hector was a standout!
