Hudson offers too much for zero drawback. I play Bishop and it's so frustrating how he can have more range than me, cancel my dashes (including my ult), be tanky and provide so much space for the backline. Also we have the skill issue in the controler role. You can clearly tell the difference between a good celeste/void and a bad one. For Hudson it seems they all play the same: run and gun.
They put out a patch nerfing him before you posted this vid, let the devs cook. They have the data that said he was to strong, I trust them to get it fixed.
I trust them to fix it but he is super oppressive he melts half the cast and feels like he just never runs out of bullets....I don't play him so I don't know what the counter to him is. Just being honest.
That being said we should always always always bring up issues we are not happy with. The devs may not know if we do not tell them. Yes they have the stats but videos like this are very important.
@EnsoXV a rule of mobas that I've learned is if you think a character is overpowered, try playing them before complaining. If they are overpowered, you get some easy wins and the satisfaction of being correct, but more often than not you'll get countered or stomped and that'll give you insight on counterplay in the future
hudson shouldnt have more effective range than shrike, he shouldnt be so tanky, either you are tanky or you deal damage, he is such a problem right now, he melts eveyrthing, super tanky and has mobility somehow
It really feels like the team needs to lean into either of Hudson's abilities or his gun. If they want the gun, then he needs some set up time, make his walls take 0.5 seconds to put up in a shorter range, make his ult have a cast time, rework his dash in someway but keep his insane damage. If they want to keep the rest of his abilities the same, he needs his gun nerfed (Less damage, longer windup, gets inaccurate at longer range, ect.).
I absolutely approve of this message especially since i see what commonly wipes my duos is being split up noobs dont take advantage enough of brush stealth, always split, and always fall into the league of legends trap of consistantly picking more fights until they die.
Perhaps if the game removes the inherent slow down on damage received and gives hudson a character rotation slow when firing and x seconds after firing (so you can't just stop firing for a milisecond, turn around at super speed, start firing again), it would fix some of hudson issues. Would raise his skill floor a lot and allow characters to dodge out of the way of his firing and incentivize flanking and getting behind him to hit his weakspot
Hudson rly doesnt seem fair. Even when i jump behind him as Jin i rly have hard time trying to get him down as he kites me. The extra damage from behind doesnt compensate the power and versitily he has.
Hudson needs to be changed not nerfed. His issues aren't that he has to much range or dmg, it's that he's a stat check that basically has zero conditions to meet for stat checking an entire team and very little counter to play against his kit.
@@midgetfish6129 completely agree, if you nerf his dmg or his mobility he either becomes a turret or he becomes a useless tank and nobody will want to play him. slight rework on his kit is the only solution

I don't think it will do much.
Nerf did absolute dick to the hunter. They don't nerf in this shit game. They pander. Pander to the loudest crybaby.

he out ranges shrike if youre not holding rmb, a literal sniper rifle out ranged by him lol
but high elo players are telling me hudson is only a low elo pubstomper????? could they be wrong?
his trap is insane, the fact that you can place it literally behind your enemies

Facts. Hella tanky, does big damage, has big range and has mobility . Like wtf

Some type of weapon overheat mech would be nice way to balance him and give bit higher skill ceiling

I knew you were cooking!! Nicely done, hope to see more!!
Thanks for the content has been useful as a new player!

I hope the devs listen to ur feedback on combat... because u are right in every f******** sentence

Hudson nerfed! Should probably remove till his new power level has been established
The nerfs don't seem enough, only slight reduction in range and hover jet duration. I feel he needs something like a barrel over heat.

Lol.
@@midgetfish6129 Interestingly enough a lot of the Alpha testers had this same exact complaint when he was first playtested.
