I have a challenge idea for you to test if you can find the funding and time to do. Drive sensibly a journey on premium fuel and then the same journey on regular fuel and compare the 2 usages data. Is premium fuel worth the extra pennies per litre?

I used to watch every episode on the evening it came out then much later binge watched on Dave 🤣 Also I had a Corsa as my first car, but mine was a 1996 1.2 8v with 45bhp 😆 With a full car, 1st gear felt more like you'd misselected 3rd!

Hey Joel,, Just a quick comment on the whole VW thing.. You ll hate the V10 Toureg....(Cant remember the spelling). Really quick car but the ride was absolute crap from memory. Land Cruisers from the era are way more comfortable....but do see if you can pick one up, will make for great content. Oh and try an Amazon too with the 4.2 TD engine. My absolute fave car of all time. Yes i know, i do not have massive aspirations. Now on to the Phaeton, the pre facelift is the grander car in my opinion, go for that for the full effect. Unforturnatly i cant see too many W12's around, most of the ones in the classifieds are the facelifted v6 TDI. The w12 ot V8 are the ones to go for for viewer content.

You've been to the nurburgring a couple times now so I'm wondering how you get used to driving on the right hand side of the road. I've been wanting to go to go on a tour to scotland myself but I'm afraid of ruining my new E46 convertible with a completely new engine while driving on the left hand side. Any tips? Or do you get used to it quite fast?

Ahhh, but Top Gear was going long before the ‘Series 1’ on iPlayer . It was going from the late 70s.... and both Clarkson and May were in it.
