i have one my self and when you get the hang of useing the blade they work very well for what they are i take it to all my job i never leave the shop with out it
after 3 years, what are your thoughts on 6 Way dozer blade for Track Loader.. I have Kubota SVL-75 and I just sold my Case 550E dozer, and have been looking at these as a replacement. Thanks!!!!
@@MrBigokhunter I know I'm a little late and not the person you asked but I think they have their place. The real drawback compared to a dozer is the wobble a compact machine like a skid steer produces front to back causing the blade to dig in or skip over, to compensate you have to take your time. One issue you may come across using a 75 compared to something like a 95 is the ability to move at a slower pace while still having the push power which may exaggerate the issue.
Man I rented a 770 I'm a cat guy I like the 289 caterpillar bobcat should make some vent holes on the motor door for cooling the backup light fell out of the rubber holding it in and man that shit was hot trying to get back in not much vent or air flow to that motor but I'll say a good machine other than is a cat just a Bobcat not caterpillar 289 but still good reviews from me I'm the guy in the caterpillar hat running bobcat but I made the machine look good the cat guy white star can I get a little knocked of the the rent bill for that 289 is a good machine the bobcat good as well just the cab gets hot because is not pushing the hot air out just holding in the engine compartment and cab the I'll give them credit a good machine needs a back light on the cab for lighting up a little better front lights great the backup lighting not so good also weld some hooks on the backside of the bucket for a chain man please case had not made a good machine since the 1845 or 1840 the xt was alright but you still see the 1845 on jobs today sorry case caterpillar and bobcat have ya beat case 1845 and back then the bobcat 743 and 843 was good machines not much for the pedal bucket and arms the case did have thar beat iso is great for fine grade or tight spots but the cat 289 and 299 good machines as well
A grader wouldn’t touch that job with how wet it is, and you can’t stockpile like this machine is doing. Grader would strip the topsoil well, but you can’t hog out tons of material like a dozer with tracks can.
It sounds like something is wrong with that machine, like it has an exhaust leak or is running on 3 cylinders. My T870 sounds very smooth and quiet compared to that.
1st time I've ever seen one Used by a professional
I see that cat dozer sitting there
He'd be getting more done with a bucket to hog, THEN the blade to level. A bucket carries more per pass.

What brand of blade do guys prefer? There are many to choose from. I’m interested in getting one for my machine
Bobcat
does the t770 have some sort of float control to make the use of the dozer blade easier?
No it does not
No it does not. Worse thing about blade is ability to see corners of blade
Out of curiosity whats the difference between using this or a grader? Or even a grader attachment?

grader doest work as well as blade in hard pan and staking
How many pins are in your plug to run this attachment? Cheers

Id ne renting a D4 for that job.
Wade i would rather do the job in half the time and then move on to next job.
eric johnston no need to rent 1 he already has a dozer there @9:52
D4 is smaller than a 770 haha. D5 is at 12ton next size up. 770 and 870 are nothing to sneeze at
