Enjoyed the show ,could not fault Europe or Foreigner clear sound & good performance by both bands . Whitesnake I thought DC was a bit Quiet or band turned up too loud ,but as some people commented maybe that was deliberate as DC's vocals are not as strong as they once were , But on saying that he is 70 now so credit where credit is due & he does have a great band there with him . Was thinking though as it's Their farewell tour It would have been nice to show some old slides or video footage of the band on the big screens looking back over the years . But as tawny is in alot of the videos maybe that would have been awkward for family etc to do that 🤔. Anyway happy retirement DC you will all always be considered as one of the God Fathers of rock , rock royalty & all that ,thank you for your great music & music videos also of course 👏👏
Love DC what an eloquent wit, the Alan Partridge of Rock and Roll, saw him on the come and get it tour at Hammersmith, what a great sight it is to see these arenas filled, wouldn't have believed he'd still be doing it in 2022, but I feel sad for him that his voice has diminished so much, and you can't blame people for feeling short changed, even though there's a party going on in there regardless , from what I can gather.
Ok, his voice doesn't sound like it's in top form, HOWEVER, we've got to give him credit for getting out there, at that age. He's got money, he's got wealth, he could very easily have stayed at home and enjoy his retirement. One day these bands will stop touring, and then we will all realise what we're missing. So, people, when you go out to see them, PLEASE be a bit more lively and show some respect to these artists.
We saw a the Rockasaurus in his death throes last night , honoured to have been there to pay homage to his 50 years . He seemed exhausted , should probably have called it quits after the tour with thunder , he was done then
Was at the gig last night, very disappointed, sound was terrible, could only hear the drums and bass, guitars tripped in and out and almost impossible to hear the vocals. Even when DC was speaking it was hard to hear. Either the sound person needs fired, or it was deliberately done to disguise dodgy vocals, as the other two bands were fine. Been to Whitesnake many times since the late 70’s and there has never been a problem until now. I was planning a trip to the US in October to see the final gig of the tour - don’t think I will bother now - which is a shame.
Agreed. Foreigner and Europe had superb sound and blew Whitesnake away. I've been a fan of DC since the mid 80s but he barely sang half the songs. Reb was covering for him most of the time which is just as well because Reb's guitar was barely audible whilst Joel's was too in your face and completely agree about the drums and bass. Tanya's a great player but I don't need to hear every note in my face! The sound mix was just terrible. Glad I went, though, but mainly to see the other two bands. I'd never have considered a Foreigner concert before but I certainly will now. Kelly's voice was insanely good and he had so much energy. Europe are just the consumate professionals. They should have had another hour and cut down Whitesnake's set. Nobody really needs to sit through another Tommy solo spot, surely!
Yep the sound was pretty awful for Whitesnake. Purposely stood on Rebs side as myself and my 17 year old son are both big fans of him and you could barely hear him. You could see him signaling to the mixing desk to turn him up. The sound for Europe and Foreigner was spot on if a little quiet. Overall I still enjoyed it though and good to see DC one final time 40 years since I first seen Whitesnake on the Come n Get it tour. Time flies.
Was at the Dublin gig and it was the exact same, I think the sound man is tone deaf, going to be a lot of dissapointed fans on this tour, David's voice is gone but you would think that the rest of the mix would sound good
Totally agree I thought the sound was turned up also to disguise the vocal sound as much as they could, the solos also went on also to kill some time as well , was sad to see so much people leaving early we were sitting and the standing area was full at beginning but half empty by the end Still glad to see the show though , another end of an era 😢
@@Sutch66 yeah definitely jase ive seen the snakes SINCE 84 in 2.500 seated place and then the arena and yeah you get a odd glitch but the clean guitar and over driven sound were not running smoothly together at ALL
@@terrydawson8371 The gigs I went to over the past few years he just couldn't hit the notes, plenty of singers voices have aged but they still have that power, DC sadly doesn't that's why he has Dino on BV's and Whitesnake has pretty much ended, unless he puts Dino on Vocals and he manages them, which has been mentioned.

Now, I don't know how old you are, but when these classic bands are gone, there will be no more pure/original created music!! They are magic⚡ from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and then We are done. The 'music' now is sh*t, puke, and childishly whiney and stupid🤪💩!! Now maybe 60% of these guys ain't enough for people like you, but I give them alot of slack! Such as upping the bass, or letting backing singers sing high parts, or eliminating songs they can't do, whatever. David can sing 'Love Ain't No Stranger' with no problem, maybe they focus on lower range songs, or complete new material without as much energy needed, idk?! If anyone needs to retire it's Bon Jovi, He is done. Unless he has un-diagnosed throat problems?! Rock music will always be there way after we have gone, a right of passage if you like. I am a DC Whitesnake fan and I am a musician, the band (who are great) are in a lower key and the facts that he lets the crowd sing the bits he can't, also the band are doing the heavy lifting here. I can name a few that have maintained their vocal power, Glenn Hughes, Graham Bonnett, Joe Lynn Turner to name 3, Ronnie James Dio had it to the very end. I agree about JB Jovi. David is retiring that I do know, he mentioned that Whitesnake could go on without him and if so then Dino(on keyboards and vocals in the Whitesnake video) is the very man to take over if you have not heard him then I suggest you do you'll see rock is in safe hands. Understandable given the poor quality of the sound. Old age and political correctness have taken the edge off the Glasgow audience - most folk walked out instead of calling him out. If he had delivered this performance at the Apollo ( which he fondly remembers ) he would have been lucky to get out of the place in one piece
