Thanks, David. You're a great motivation. Because of you, I've been able to navigate divorce, be a single dad, and help my UA-cam channel take off. Keep doing what you're doing.
Letting your emotions sink in, letting in the saddness, letting tears flow down your cheeks is human. Naturally, don't be a cry baby. But if you have a good reason to feel sad or cry, just do it. You'll feel better, and in time you will stop feeling the need to cry. But if you suppress the emotions, they will come out in least expected situation, most often in the form of anger or rage. Don't be bitter guys. Work on your self esteem, and don't let them get to you.
Great video. Women are born. Men are made. What makes men? Brutal failures. Rejection. Pain. Obstacles. Adversity. Hard work. Earning your keep. This is a man’s life. Took me a long time to understand
This is the best advice you could ever give because pain makes you feel more alive and mindful of your potential. I'm glad I realized this last year, it allowed me to increase confidence through pain.
I joined the Air Force right out of high school not really having purpose or knowing what I wanted to do. Then I separated and surprisingly going to college, I started getting straight A’s and realized I was way smarter and had more potential than I had originally thought. Now I feel an inner calling to use these skills to enter the world of business and finance to make the world better for others while also making more money. Don’t stop grinding, you’ve got way more potential than you think you do
Fell off watching your videos for several months man. An inner voice told me my life is starting to slip up again and to start watching you again and I’m happy I’m doing it again. Your content helped me through some dark times and I appreciate what you do.
In my 20's I suffered from failure over and over again, despite trying to gain some success. But, the only way to gain success is through pain and failure. When I dropped out of uni in 2011, I suffered from depression and a stroke. Three years later, I'd lost my dog, my relationship crumbled, my brain was frazzled and my debts increased but I graduated. It was worth it. The fear of failure fuelled me on.
When your mother is a nurse and kept you under her wing everytime. As 18 yo, I don't know how to handle risk situations... But as I do martial arts, I think I'm moving outside of my comfort zone a little bit. Is good progress
True words! I'm in my late 40s now and I'm enjoying the grand life including an attractive gf in her 20s , because of all the hard work I did when I was younger. Never stop grinding gentlemen!
Yup so true. My parents don’t want me to get into professional boxing because they know I will get hurt also because I’m a relatively late bloomer in boxing (I’m 23 and only been boxing for a year). But in reality i do it because I don’t want them to get hurt and always be there to protect them as they get older.
Reprogram the brain to take in suffering as pleasure and pleasure as pain. Brandon Carter has a great podcast on this. 30 days you can make the full flip.
25 RN, I wouldn't say ''struggle'' with finding a girl, but struggling with approach, now it's getting better. Learning Stoicism and nothing can crash me.
Thank you David for the great video! Guys, don’t avoid pain! On the contrary put yourself to pain on purpose. Pain is the price we pay for growth. The more the pain the quicker the growth! Also, make mistakes and FAIL. The more mistakes you make the faster you learn, adapt and grow. And finally, Fail Forward 💪🏻🙏🏻
Needed this video big time, Suffered a heart attack a month ago at 28 had been seriously depressed and suffering in silence, thinking I'm not good enough, thinking that the pain will never end and really considered ending it all. But I'm over feeling this way, finally stay sober, be confident again, get to my target weight get rid of 20kg/45lbs and get back to playing state league soccer one last time, maybe do standup comedy to face my fears of public speaking. Deep down I know there is sunlight just over the horizon and things will get better, time to harness this pain and face it head on.
In his life lessons book "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future," Michael J. Fox quoted an excellent proverb: "Things work out best for those who best handle how things work out." Your explanation from 10:05 - 10:25 reminded me so much of his quote, and it's so true. Awesome to see your progress and your journey through the years, David. Keep doing the Lord's work, dude.
Listen to 9:27 - 9:44 again. Let that sink in. Embrace delayed gratification and become comfortable with the pain of consistent self discipline in a side-hustle/craft that you are genuinely passionate about and have an aptitude for, rather than giving into instant gratification and temporary pleasures your whole life so you can minimize the pain of regret later.
The reality is is you don’t know if she likes you back she probably doesn’t, girls will make it obvious when they like you but that shouldn’t stop you from trying.
Try to make a move but just be prepared that she’s probably gonna say no. If she says no then you should probably end off with saying alright that’s fine I just wanted to know if you would that’s all and then ask her if y’all can still just be friends, from my experience she usually will if you’re actually willing to move on and are ok with just being friends.
Song name from 08:05. Keep posting these life altering videos David!!!! I've been a subscriber since way back and I've seen you grow on me and grow as a young man with your channel.
No matter what you face in life use it as a lesson and fuel ⛽️ too become better as a man you must know how to be in control of your desires and emotions put your purpose and forever make your purpose number one tune out the distractions as much as you can and understand that to be uncommon and successful you have to be willing to be alone you have to get comfortable with doing things that make you very uncomfortable 💪 so what are you going to choose sloth laziness and a path of sorrow and excuses and the path of pain heartbreak rejection failure repetition consistency and self discipline

Well said. My dad still says to this day that nobody is giving away a damn thing out here. As men we have to learn and keep pushing forward. Every single loss in our life is a lesson. We got this
Maybe I’m late to the game, but have you been changing your thumbnails from when you first upload a video and a day or two after? Is this to get more views?
I'm shocked by how many men really don't understand this, and how some men are just born with the innate ability to just get it and want it and naturally never give up.
I'm 38 years old and the title is spot on. Its important to date lots of women in order to develop a titanium shield on your emotions and eventually you'll be the boss
Suffer now or suffer later. I chose to suffer in my early 30s by working 2 jobs. Reward? Became a homeowner. At 35 I’m working 2 jobs now and renovating my home. Reward? A fully remodeled house and will be able to enjoy the rewards of earning money on it.
Most millionaires aren't business owners. Most millionaires have regular careers. It's actually very easy to become rich over time with an average or slightly above average salary with a few easy habits. Studies consistently show that the most common careers among millionaires are engineers, teachers, accountants, and mid level management. Meaning: the vast vast majority of rich people are not entrepreneurs. Obviously some are, and it's a great path, but by far the most reliable way to get rich is to have a high level 9-5, contribute to your 401k, and invest regularly. Signed, a millionaire by age 33
I haven’t seen so much fakeness in one video If you really want to take the uncommon path, you should start to take responsibility for your own actions instead of blaming other specially a partner and then pretending to be stoic If you don’t take this reality pill, you will never be successful in life neither a in a relationship As simple as that😉

Most important message of this video: keep going, even if it‘s painful. The pain will pass, you will stay
1. pain is unavoidable
2. trying to avoid pain is a losing strategy
3. the most relentless man always wins
4. exposure therapy
You really outdid yourself with this one. Probably the realest one yet.

Strong message in this one. The Michael Jordan quote is powerful and one of my favorites.
