Thank you so much for this touching and inspiring video. We are considering Montana at the brink of our national collapse the summer of 2022. I’m a native Southerner and lived in WA on a island in the sea for last 20 years filled with CA. We are ready for change. ♥️♥️♥️

What a great complement, thank you. Montana is a great state and definitely a slower pace of life.

Nice vid. Born n raised in CA as well. LIBS have destroyed my home state. Maybe ID or MT as my final destination. That's an awesome version of "Montana."

Sadly it was politics and poor economics that forced my hand in leaving CA as there is no way to retire there and keep your savings. My fear is people leaving CA for other states and bringing their bad decisions with them to ruin other states. Thank you for your honest comment and for watching. It means a lot.

Such a lovely video. The best one I've seen about why people have moved to Montana. I've been so lucky to visit four times in less than a year, I love Montana. Why I never traveled there before now, I have no idea . At 56, I'm grateful to have fallen in love with this land. It is really very spiritual . I was able to donate a stupa in Arlee, that's how much this land spoke to me .
Thank you for sharing your story

Thank you for such a wonderful comment. I too love the Garden of 1000 Buddhas and travel there often. I hope to have a video out on it soon.

The vocal during the verse in the song Montana sounds just like Don Williams song " good ole boys like me" with different words. Dave S. did a good job with it.

I am a Native Texan and I consider Montana my second home. From the very first time I set foot on Montana soil 22 years ago, I knew immediately I was in a very special place. As you said, there is a spiritual connection here that I have found nowhere else.

That was such a relaxing 10.5 minutes. Thank you soooooo much for sharing your beautiful state. If I was 20 years younger, I would be Montana bound. But, I can live vicariously through you and Colleen. Keep 'em coming! Thank you. I am very proud, and a wee bit envious.

Glad you enjoyed it! If I were 20 years younger I would be doing this in Alaska, but happy with MT as well. A lot of cool videos in the works as well

I live in Montana and my inlaws were first of their generation to settle and farm. Mt used to be a conservative state. But has been infiltrated by liberals, millionaires, Hollywood's elite, who try to change Montana's traditional conservative views.
Healthcare is subpar. Education is subpar d/t economy and liberal agenda.. Hutterites, natives, drug addicted native Montanans and poorer farmers are downtrodden. They expect little, and that's what they get.
Cost of living is great. Doesn't equal the low wages that continue to keep people living in poverty.

Great video . I was born and raised in Ronan all though I don't live there now . My grandpa was a tribal member of the salish and kootnia tribe . He was a McLeod. I also love that Dave Stamey song Montana brings back memories of working for Jon Marchi ranch in Valley View

That is one of the major reasons I made the decision to build my own debt free house. What i spend in my time and labor saves me from having to pay double to a contractor.

After going there, working feeding cattle and horses at -28deg F, hunting there, finding the freedom you have there, I'm selling my upstate N.Y. farm and looking at buying a ranch in the Billings, Forsyth, Miles city, Ashland, Broadus Mt. area. Returning to N.Y.S. felt like a communist state the govt is very limiting and tax the crap out of you.

I fully understand and that is why I made the decision to leave my home state of California.
