Lost 91 lbs so far since I got my air fryer and learned to cook vegetables. I'd always thought vegetables were just mushy and bitter but when cooked right I love em. Bought some brussel sprouts and plan on doing these tonight
THIS IS IT!! I was looking for a recipe using an instapot but when I saw this I had to give it a try, sooo glad I did! I don't do vinegar, so I did a couple of sprays of soy sauce and a garlic/lemon herb seasoning. Gamechanger!
Mix balsamic vinegar with brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until glaze is reduced by half, about 20 minutes. Glaze should coat the back of a spoon. Let cool and pour into a jar with a lid; store in refrigerator.
Yo my brother Fit Life I just made these in the air fryer with the balsamic reduction and maaaaaaaaaaannnnnnn you were right!!!! it was amazing!!! that sweet and sour flavor with the sprouts was off the chain!!!! Thanks so much!!!!
Just found your channel, I'm subscribing due to your balsamic reduction recipe. I don't like balsamic, but I think your reduction might do the trick. I have Brussel Sprouts right off the stalk and was looking for a recipe to cook them minus being smothered in butter. Can't wait to try this recipe. Thanks.
Hello Gail!!! Thanks for subscribing to the channel. I also appreciate you taking the time to comment. This brusell sprout recipe is one of my favorite ways to prepare veggies. I try to keep the recipes healthy, simple and flavorful. The balsamic reduction is delicious!!!!
Thank you much Donnie D for the informative brussel sprout cooking lesson. I saw another tutor video advising to soak the cut brussel sprouts for 10 minutes to eliminate any dryness! Is that necessary...or a matter of preference?

I love that you enjoyed the recipe. I think I may try using some sauce on them too. Thanks for sharing!!!
These sprouts are awesome!
Also really good with Sriracha and maple syrup, instead of balsamic and red pepper flakes.
Omg...looks delicious! How do you make a balsamic reduction?
Brown sugar and good balsamic vinegar.
Thanks so much 💕
@@FitLifeFoodie Can you tell me the ratio of balsamic vinegar to brown sugar? Thanks for the great video!
Sure Richard.
Use a 4:1 Ratio
- 2 cups good quality balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the positive feedback.
I did it. I cooked them your way and truly enjoyed it. About to go at it again! Yummy!

Great airfryer cooking thank you
Thanks 🙏🏽
Thanks 🙏🏽
If you cut the sprouts before you peel them, it's easier to get rid of those outer shells, and sometimes they fall off themselves saving you some time
Thanks for the tip.
How to make balsamic reduction?
How come you didn't cut off the bottoms

You are welcomed Bill. I never tried soaking them before cooking. In my opinion that is a preference I prefer to use an olive oil for moisture.
Thank you, huge tip just to have the Brussel sprouts face up. Not soggy in the middle
Me: hmmm I have Brussels sprouts (at almost 2:00 am)
Also me: desirable is such an interesting word. I must add this to my vocabulary this week.
What size air fryer are you using?

Never understand how people thought pepper flakes put off heat but I guess it depends on the person
Mann why aren’t you using a bowl, and why didn’t you cut the bottoms off?🫢
