Equipment: Fender Strat w Dimarzios, ENGL Ironball, Two Notes Torpedo with Friedman/Scumback SC75 impulses. Pedals: Bogner Red channel (org. version), Dunlop Crybaby, MXR Uni-vibe, Fromel Velvet Vice, CAE Buffer. Short echo added in mixdown. Performance notes: In the clean sections I added the occasional personal touch here and there. Apart from that I tried to remain fairly faithful to the original. (NOTE: I have been informed that there are two small digital clicks noises in the audio playback during the first solo. I apologize for that.)

Thanks, glad to hear that. I use the regular old Fender Extra Heavy 1.2 mm, white ones only. The whites have a different surface texture that provides a very solid grip IMO.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight Those are great picks. I currently use the Dunlop Jazz III 2.0mm. I noticed in a few of your covers you float the trem. How on earth do you keep it in tune? If I even look at my strat it goes out of tune lol.
That's right, I float my trems maybe 3 semitones up. It gives a smoother bar vibrato and softer feel for bends. For tuning, I always replace the Fender hardware with Gotoh Bridges and Gotoh Locking Tuners. I highly recommend them. It helps to use bullet end strings such as Fender Bullets. And stretching out new strings a few minutes until stable. No system is perfect, but for me this stays in tune maybe 95%. Hope this helps.

@@Comrade575 Thank you! Yes, I've heard others say the modern Fender bridges are more stable. Good to know the modern fenders are improving. I guess I'm sticking with the vintage bridges, somehow they feel and sound better to me. And the beauty of the Gotoh 6-point is the drop-in bar instead of screw-in. No more wobble.
