- John Bayley helps a TA with her behaviour management skills. Behaviour expert John Bayley demonstrates different ways of encouraging positive behaviour to teaching assistant Toni Barrett. Toni, who works at Chilton Trinity Technology College in Somerset, has a robust personality and enjoys the challenge of cover supervision.
Robust personality? I left Chilton this year and from my experiences of Mrs Barrety, robust doesn't do her justice, she didn't take anything from anyone and everyone in the class benefited from this. A great assistant with many a great story to tell
You are appreciated. You did a great job.
What a lovely lady. I hope the hard work she does/did is/was appreciated.
a strong personality is good for education
Toni is one of the best teachers there you shouldn't be teaching her she should be teaching you
Apologies, I meant to say a great teacher, not assistant
Thank you for sharing.
There is no way I could teach a year 8 class!
❤
Very helpful!
Saying "Okay?" makes it sound as if they have a choice.
Is a cover supervisor the same as a substitute or teacher on call?
great question
I think so, but the Supervisor could manage a team of cover teachers
