    The spinners are so dependent on the pitch.
    If you defeat that, its half the battle won.
    This is staying for a long time now.
    Awesome content mate.

      Watch how kambli dealt with him... Kamblis first move created confusion.. Warne didnt know whether that move was to step out or used as a lever to go back...
      Kambli vs warne.. Masterclass in how to dictate to the spin bowler

      @@tigerwoods8022 u missed the point. All spinners are dependent on getting the ball to land and then turn on the pitch, the coach is saying get there first before the ball has a chance to land and turn

    Funnily I also have a forward plant before bat being realised and play with my hands, I then tried to stay still as possible and it worked!! More shot control and wasnt playing with my hands

    This was a really really interesting video. Watching really good players of spin, their front leg is always well bent into the ball on the drive. But really good coaching from this, however at the end of the day, you will get better at playing golf spin bowling the more u play against it.

    • @cricketmentoring
      @cricketmentoring  6 років тому

      Yep, very true. The best players transfer their weight right into their shot which is done by bending their front leg. Thanks for the comment Nicholas.

    Thank you 🙏🏼 you are our feet going places and improving our game every time. We learn a lot just sitting where ever we are. I hope you could also travel to England sometime and get some insights on how play swing in those conditions. Bless you mate!!!

    Hey Scrolls, I recently did the 7 day challenge beginning of this year and I felt really good with my game and training. However i had some personal incidences which made me take some time off and now its almost the start of preseason but I am finding it difficult to get back to where i was. Any recommendations/tips on how to start getting ready mentally and physically. Thanks heaps

    • @cricketmentoring
      @cricketmentoring  6 років тому

      Hey mate, I think it is important to start with the most basic training and drills possible. It will be a gradual build up like the rest of us to get back to your best. It is also important to not judge yourself too harshly and let your body and mind get back into the groove of batting. Set small goals that you can tick off as you go. Hope this helps, cheers legend!

      thanks heaps mate. Also complete different question. What weight bats do professionals use. I assume around 2.8 to 2.9 due to the speed of the bowling

    In Australia and England all the focus in the nets is on face bowling hardly do I see any nets footage on playing spin which is 10 times harder than playing fast bowling

    • @cricketmentoring
      @cricketmentoring  6 років тому +4

      You're right that most of the focus is on fast-bowling. I don't know if spin is harder but it's a completely different challenge and one that everyone needs to spend time practicing. Thanks for your comment

      Did you noticed that Indian coaches are a bit conservative about their approach. They don't allow their puiples to play sweep or paddle shots. Rather they stick to basics, and encourage them to either play in V or use their feet more often.

    Mr, another thing I would like to point out, are your wide hands in your stance. That is the reason why your bat is stretching seconds before your feet is planted. Try to make sure that while playing spin bowling, keep your hands as close to your body as possible.
