- TRAINING AT FINALS INTENSITY - FULL NET SESSION | Scolls Stories 91
It was an action-packed Thursday for me as I interviewed WACA & Perth Scorchers Wicket-keeper Sam Whiteman for our podcast, 'The Process of Success'.
I then had two cricket coaching sessions and then went to what could be (hopefully not) our last cricket training for the year. I set the camera up behind the net and haven't edited any of the session. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Hey just a suggestion you change the cam view to like an umpires view thanks alot
That left arm fast bowler is one skiddy bowler! Bowls much faster than he looks.
He has played for Brisbane Heat in the Big Bash. His name is Ryan Duffield
Solid as a rock
Best of luck for the finals..
Man the wickets are fast down under!
Well batted mate
Well batted Scolls
Cheers legend
hey scolls I love watching you play. my stance is pretty inspired by you and I've noticed it seems to be working well for me. though I've noticed you are keeping your feet pretty close to each other. any specific reasons for this. how do you determine your stance width in different situations?
I never leave anything outside off stump - my eyes light up - I throw everything at it! Its the straight deliveries I have difficulty with...
Drives coming out sweet 👌
Cheers legend
nice batting from the master, keep up the good work mate, don't worry u got this, premiers 2018
Thanks legend. Unfortunately not premiers this year as we lost
Tim David won both his finals
Hey scolls love your vlogs helps me a lot
Awesome mate. Glad you enjoy them
I'm from Nagaland it is located in India i want a coach like you so can you coach me
Ball speed???
Aamar kopale boll korchey fireman and giggles 🙌
Did U play an first class cricket?
Set up, trigger and bat rhythm extremely similar to Faf du Plessis except hands are a lot closer together. Joy to watch!
i know it is kind of off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream new series online?
Yup, been using flixportal for years myself :)
What bat weight do you normally use
Hi scrolls why did ryan duffield reteried so early
seems your trigger movement is not quick to face pace ball , a quick trigger movement can make a great difference in your front foot shots , this is just a observation , pls ignore if your style is comfortable for you . btw whats the speed of the bowlers ?
You bone them
In the nets champ
Great video, insight and loads of inputs for us. Much more quality than the GoPro video, could track the ball from the bowlers hand much better also could see how you were playing the ball. All the best for the Finals. I want to feel that I am at Zero every ball to stay alert - hope this is a right approach and you may be you could add or alter this with your insight. Thank you always for doing such great work. #amazing.
Good to stay alert but you also want to stay positive and if you are feeling good and conditions allow play your shots. If you are always on 0 you maybe over watchful at times and miss out on scoring runs
Hi Scolls. How r u ? I always see ur video n learn a lot from it. Keep it up. Just want to find out who's left arm fast bowler? I seen him few times bowling to u. I'm very impressed with him.
Good luck for final.
The left arm bowler is Ryan Duffield. He's a former professional with Western Australia and the Brisbane Heat. He's a very good bowler
Thanks
Took middle guard but just followed it for the first ball
You take a guard for just realize where the stump is though you don't need to follow every ball !
Hello Tom, could the intensity in the net session been increased by running between wickets on the scoring shots or even at the end of every 6 balls, walk half way down the wicket and back to simulate the end of the over?
Absolutely this could be done. Our training sessions aren't varied enough and don't simulate a match situation enough. It's something I'll be recommending for next season.
Great footage scolls , I liked the way you batted seemed to be getting into good positions! I think your pretty solid on the back foot. But I feel your not completely balanced on your front foot when defending. I feel like your a bit upright in ur stance maybe causing not perfect balance. A tip from me is to flex ur knees a bit more in ur stance!
Take care mate! Hitting them well👍🏻
Cheers legend
And who the fuck are u?
Hey lads any chance at your 100th scolls stories can you put a helmet cam on during a game :)
That would be epic
Joel GREAT IDEA
That’s a LEGENDARY Idea!
I'd love to do that mate but I don't think I'd be allowed and our season has now come to an end. I will definitely try and do that in the future though!
What club level is this?
Sumor Premier cricket 1st
U look very much alike to shane watson in ur stance
Nice!
You are not moving back..
how quick's the tall white shirt?
Probably 120-130 Kph steep bounce though
@@cricketmentoring are you sure. It looks at least 135-140
Needs improvment in grip position
Hahahahahha you know nothing about good grip position first of he’s a coach he knows what to do way more then you do
@@user-xt7jq8qp9x Santosh is actually right
@@creedbratton596 bro no he’s not scholls would change if he needs to but he’s comfortable
How quick do your reckon the bowlers are?
Probably 120-130 Kph
Cheers man.
I completed your 1k likes pls give me a bat please
You do leave balls too much. Try to develop your shots more. Leaving balls wont make you better.
u can't play that left seamer well
What do I need to do to improve?
Cricket Mentoring- Online coaching, tips & advice I think you just square up a bit that's the problem. You should cover the line of ball then u can play well left seamer
