1,7 km². 😳I watched the whole video and I still can't fathom the size of this thing. 7,9 km² is my whole city!!! So this means that it covers 1/4 of my community. WOW! Also the interior is amazingly pretty, shining marble and all... Thanks for sharing.
there is an Intercontinental hotel inside, live there for 2 days and you can enjoy all the facilities foods shopping and entertainment without going out, but there's no hospital inside. come and see it:)
I am chinese, who have worked there for two weeks. it's huge!!! there are thousands office from diffrent companys. you know what, i lived next to this building but it still takes me ten minutes to gate of this building and i go to work by bike.
As foreigner working in China I was absolutely blown away by the scale and size of the place! Magnificent architecture and well thought out design. Awesome full sized hotel, HUGE water park, AND a shopping mall all in one. Not one but 2 Starbucks as the cherry on top. You all should be proud. This place is GREAT!!!
Incredible mall. The first thing I noticed is how beautiful all the flooring is. I liked the track floor in front of the sports stores. Here in the hood in Manhattan everyone gets followed around in stores, but because they assume you’re going to steal, not because they want to help you 😂 And there’s music blasting in front of all the stores too 😂😂 Definitely agree with you about the water park. You’d think they’d have some way of controlling the number of people in the water at any one time. Can’t wait for the next video Lee. Much Love to all of you❤️❤️❤️
one thing that really impresses me (and having watched many videos of rural and urban areas) is the cleanliness of streets, buildings, and even the busiest of city centers.
Amazing 😍 there is a certain nostalgic quality that can't be explained easily... It's as if it possesses a character that would be memorable for any visitor forever, and invoke nostalgia reminiscing on visiting in the past
Absolutely love your videos Lee, thank you. China is miles ahead of every country in technology and infrastructure. It’s fantastic to see. Respect from Ireland 🍀
I’m a chengduer, I wanna tell all that you really cannot realize how enormous this building is unless you visit it in person. It actually look much more bigger in reality than in videos or your imagination. I was shocked at the first sight when getting out of the metro station.
You're right. If a shop plays loud music or loud noise to try to attract me in, I'd run a mile from it. The water park is way over crowded & they ought to have limit the amount of people for health & safety reason; not until after a bad accident. I'd contact the mall's management to voice my concern.
That ice rink is massive and nice ❤. I wish we have a facility like that. It can be really enjoyable watching skaters on the side or just roaming around while waiting for skaters to take lessons.
Great video again. Those vending machine robots are in Shenzhen. Gangxia, Longhua Uniworld, Wanda plaza, I have seen them. What an amazing building. I am back in U.K. at the moment - reverse culture shock.
Pretty amazing. China and the Chinese are really doing some amazing stuff over there. (I say this as an American.) Imagine what we could accomplish if we all work together. All these tensions today. It’s too bad.
@@Anonymous------ these days every western nation is covered in cameras, we are on camera as we drive, even walking down quiet streets there are cctv cameras, on people's front doors, outside we are all on camera 24/7
That’s okay, don’t worry about our kids! We have plenty of highly developed intelligent and technologies to prevent such things happening 😊 we feel sorry for your kid that was lost before. It was a really nightmare for you. Hope that not happen again, and you can be a good parent.
I grew up near what became one of those "premier"-type malls in southern California--South Coast Plaza. It opened in the 1960s and was, as you can image, a novel idea, shopping and dining in a well lit, controlled temperatured area, safe for anyone. This near enough to the Pacific Ocean to enjoy mid-70s temperature daily, but c'mon--this was new. I mention this because the last time I was down there and checked on the mall, this was the same basic look of our upscale mall. I just asked Google and he says the mall is about 6500 miles from where I am in Portland, Oregon on the northwest coast of the Pacific. This is a vid of the mall, if you would like to compare and contrast😉. My girlfriends and I are convinced that we paid for most of the marble you would see at then end of the swankier side of the mall on our little "we'll just look" four hour extravaganzas that would take a couple weeks of work pay to make those bouts disappear financially. There would be so much that I would want to see and do if I ever get to China, but it would be fun to spend a day shopping and dining with the locals. It's funny, but if everyone likes the same things, language is no longer nessisary.😀
2nd time i see this mall on youtube, personally not a big fan of shopping mall, rather get out there and enjoy the nature, but great video! actually the mall remind me of those outlet in Japan, but this one is probably 10x bigger!
My goodness, looking at the buildings near the mall gives context and that mall is the size of a suburb. I wonder how many entered when it first opened and are still in there somewhere 😂
Watching videos about Asia's infrastructure, technology, healthcare, investments, and construction projects makes one realise just how dumb and backward the United Kingdom is. Whatever makes people form the impression the UK is a first world country!?
The world's number one maritime nation, the first colonial nation, the country that robbed the most land, a military power, an empire on which the sun never sets, a bunch of pirates.
Well, lets see what happens in Asian countries after they finish developing right ? Weird to compare a country of 64 million with a country thats 1.5 billion... If anything its remarkable the UK did or has what it has considering it being such a small country,
The amount of food and the number of people it must take on the supply chain to get that food to the mall and served every single day is kind of mind boggling.
A little tip: Chengdu was once the capital of the world in upper ancient times (before all dynasties)! The ancient Shu (ancient name for Chengdu) site has only been excavated by 0.2% so far, but it already contains elements of all ancient civilizations in the world, and its own unique elements not found in other ancient civilizations in the world; and it has collected ivory, deep-sea shells, etc. from all over the world; and there are many black technologies that far surpass the times (these technologies only exist in modern times).~ Ancient Shu created the whole world, this is the reallife Prometheus (film), you foreigners can only imagine these in films, but we all have real physical evidence!! There are many things you don't know, and the outside medias intentionally ignore many things. So I often say: although we are inside the wall, we know far more than those outside - people always don't believe it!~

Tbh, in today's global economy the building itself is much less impressive than the fact that it has so many open stores and shopping customers.
