When Newt Gingrich visited China and rode on China’s highspeed train and saw some of China’s other impressive infrastructures he said, “Game over! No way in hell we’re gonna be able to compete with this!” That’s why you don’t see Newt Gingrich badmouth China anymore in a very long time!
In South Africa, we are so use to the China malls selling cheap goods made in China. We don't get to see the high quality goods. Therefore people here associate China with only manufacturing only cheap and inferior products.
Thats because South African customs tax the crap out of any imports. Basic dark chocolate costs double compared to Europe and Australia. Cars are 20-30% more expensive in ZA. Blame the government
That's because after most African countries got their independence they became inferior and cheap 😂 Maybe if they tried to make their countries great things will change...

These Chinese mall makes Macy look like a mini mart or 7 eleven.
foshan is a city of furniture, and appliance .Many factories and companies are there, like a complete industry
And the chinese consumers have money to spent,to keep this gigantic mall to open

Well, to be fair there are a million malls this beautiful in China unlike in the US where there is none!
