  • A short video on my Cossack uniform from the 1890's showing the coat, boots, pants, tunic, and pack. Along with a 1881 Dragoon saber replica.
    Song used during video- it is not my own song

    Now you need to go borrow the gray pilgrims Nagant revolver lol. Albeit that Would be pretty new for 1890s. They would have probably been carrying quite a few Smith & Wesson number three Russians still.

      Absolutely hahaha, I've fired his before and it was quite fun. I'm putting some money aside to get my own. Thanks for the comment! Also I love your channel as well

      Also those number three Russians I've seen go for 5,000 dollars on the low side out here. It's way too expensive for me.

      I went to a local gun store and was able to pick up a nagant, with holster, and a box of ammo for 300 bucks. I am happy as can be and I will put out a video or two on it along with showing it with a Cossack impression. Keep your powder dry.

    What are the loops carrying in the coat?

    • @TheTsarsTailor1910
      @TheTsarsTailor1910  13 днів тому +1

      They are called gyzers, I think I spelled it wrong. But it's a traditional eastern European thing to have especially for cossack's they used to hold small flasks of gunpowder to reload your musket. During the Russian civil war it carried bullets

    i just realised, one thing on this it dosent look like 1890, i might be stupid, but if my kuban cossack friend told me i remember that at time chokhas ware colored, and more detailed, it looks more like 1914 version

    • @TheTsarsTailor1910

      I think you might be right it would be at least early 1900's. It's been a while since i went over that video but i would change a bunch for that outfit. I should probably make a new one more accurately.
