    It would be helpful to new users if you started out by saying which version of Alibre you are using. Of course you can do this exercise in all Alibre versions. But I have watched some videos and try to follow along only to find out that you can't do that in the version I have.

      That is very true. The entire course is intended for Professional and expert functionality and is still being made. I have it on my to do to add to the descriptions which functions go with which license.

    whenever i draw on the created plane i cant see the sketch 1 eliptical. is there a setting for that to be viewed?
    nvm its under
    "View"
    "toggle sketches" incase anyone else needs it

    I'm on Alibre Design 27. When I try to select a line as guide to the loft, I get this error:
    ACISERROR_INVALID_BODY_RESULT: Operation - The Feature results in an invalid body
    Operation: Boss

      Oh, it was because I forgot to do a vertical constraint on my first ellipse relative to the origin.. My guide lines looked perfect on the YZ plane, like it was touching the ellipse, but once I rotated around and zoomed in, I saw the guide line off on the XY plane, not really connected to the ellipse. It works great now!
