- I've always learned solos by ear and then checked UA-cam to see if I was right. And Dweezil Zappa's solo on @steelpantherrocks track 'Is My Dick Enough' was probably the hardest one to play yet.

Dweezil is underrated. Both a musical genius by blood and a faithful disciple of EVH. Eddie even praised him back then as someone who can play very close like him.

I always loved the intro of that song. It’s amazing music, and it also makes for a great exercise whether alternate picking or finger style.
Dweezil is a great player. Very cool that SP had him do a guest solo.
Dweezil Zappa is a monster player, I saw him some years ago with his Zappa plays Zappa project, where he played his dad's music with his old band.
At one point Steve Vai came out and they had some improvised guitar jam, pretty awesome stuff.
Dweezil is amazing. Saw him open for Spinal Tap, he rocked the place.
Dweezil is no joke. Tremendous player.
Frank is my favorite song writer. Dweezil is pretty darn amazing too

Very interesting. It must have been so cool to have Frank as a dad. He understood his son loving Eddies playing. At the same time he had to be thrilled to have his dad to help him with music as well. Watching Zappa,VH John MCLAUGHLIN all seemed like like giants to me watching them play. Anyone who has such command over an instrument always seemed like giants to me. The drummers .Buddy Rich, Billy Cobham also played with passion at another level it seemed to me. Thanks. I’m subscribing so I can check out your channel!

Controversial take but, I could never _get_ Frank, but I get Dweezil.
Yeah that one’s a doosie. I have a recommendation - Scarred by Dream Theater (guitarist John Petrucci) the solo is about 8 min in right after the keyboard solo. Is beautiful but also very difficult. A masterpiece of a solo

Amazing stuff Cameron. Can I ask you something about that Guthrie Charvel, is the neck profile the same as a regular Mexican one (like the DK24 2PT Mahogany HSH model) ?

I'm glad you asked because I'm considering one, too. I hope he reads this.
This is Guthrie's actual signature prototype. This happens to be a very different neck compared to the current models. Very thin. I prefer the necks on the mexican Charvels now. The Guthrie signature shares the same profile as the Mexican San San Dimas. My prototype feels more like a DK24.

It's okay! I have massive respect for people commenting when English isn't their first language.
I use Elixir Strings. They last longer than any other string on the market because they are coated.

i own 4 guitars with HH pickups config.
Im curious for HSS..should i go with 22 or 24 frets for the tone ?..thank you soo much...God Bless

Yes! There's no option with this one since this solo was never filmed or played live.
Did you use delay on this?
Nope. Haven't used delay in my videos for years now. Just reverb.
