Yea, most Americans are more about drinking while playing a game, like Beer Pong, card games, etc. That's where like Pabst Blue Ribbon comes in good, not a great beer to sip but if you're just chugging shit playing beer pong, it's the way to go. Meanwhile, if you're at a restaurant and want to enjoy a beer, Heineken is most people's goto. The other lite beers are decent enough for beer pong but most people wouldn't be caught dead drinking that shit on their own or at a restaurant.

Many people assume breathalyzers only pick up on alcohol because it passed through your mouth/throat, but it's actually picking up on alcohol vapor coming from your lungs. Alcohol evaporates from your blood into your respiratory system (lungs), which inherently pollutes your breath. The amount of alcohol vapor in your breath can pretty closely represent your actual blood alcohol content.
Also, toothpaste giving false positive readings on breathalyzers is untrue. Breathalyzers will not detect sugar alcohol from toothpaste, and even if it could, all the sugar alcohol in an entire tube of toothpaste wouldn't be enough to blow a 0.01. Mouthwashes however that use actual alcohol could linger in your mouth and give off a very small trace of alcohol vapor, but generally not enough to surpass 0.01. It could potentially trigger a 0.00 tolerance interlock (car breathalyzer), which is why they recommend rinsing your mouth with water before using, but not enough in any state to be considered intoxicated.

i think depression beer is your "special brew" style of fortified beers, the kind you only buy because you've done a calculation for price/alcohol content and it comes out as the cheapest per unit of alcohol. the kind of stuff alcoholics drink to get drunk quickly and cheaply. typically it has a abv of well over 5% sometimes 10%, i know carlsberg do one thats 7.5%
From an experienced broke (former now) alcoholic, your best drunk to money ratio is always going to be your bottom of the barrel rot gut vodka like Skol or Popov in the plastic screw top bottle. 10 bucks for a gallon of pure regret.

We Dutch hate Heineken because the good Heineken gets exported and we get the bottom of the barrel. It's also poured a lot on festival where it is heavily watered down.

I'd agree to that. Blue Moon is prob the only American beer I drink a few times a year (I was surprised when I learnt it was american tbh). But if I have the choice I'd rather go with Hoegaarden or 1664 Blanc in the same type of beer.

I've seen a lot of these with basic supermarket 64 pack beers. I want to see somebody get some craft beers, I'm not gonna drink these, I don't care if I'm never gonna see whatever craft beers you rate. I love sour beers, even though so many people hate them. They just haven't taken off in the US, they had a bit of a false start because seltzer popped off right when I started seeing them in stores.
You want them to drink a bunch of regional specific beer that most people probably haven’t tried? That makes no sense.

I love sour beers too, but it really is a gamble whether that "sour" on the menu is the kind that's a really lovely fruit beer like Belgian Kriek, or the kind that tastes like vinegar and vomit with some grapefruit hiding in there somewhere.
