Honestly, I think the best part of the event was all the different combinations of commentators! All sorts of different styles clashing together, with most people having little to no experience with commentary; it made for some very unique interactions.
My favorite quote was “Ludwig complaining about an RNG based game that he threw an event for”

As an avid beeriokart player, I think it was a huge oversight not filming the contestants struggling to chug beers otherwise we're just watching normal mario kart. I saw you streaming this and got excited then pretty much immediately clicked away when I realized the racers weren't being filmed

I know he wasn't featured much during the video, but it's really cool to see AttackingTucans in this event and with all these people, he's one of the ogs and it's cool to see him attend events like this.
Never felt such pure shock seeing AttackingTucans be a part of this! I had no clue he was a part of this UA-cam circle, it’s great to see him!

AttackingTucans and Jerma at the same Ludwig event is my middle school UA-cam colliding with my current UA-cam so bizarre
Seeing AttackingTucans was such a blast from the past, I used to watch him all the time when he was doing Versus and I still pop in every now and again when I think of him to see how he's doing. Such a pleasure to see him again.
Ludwig is actually so smart. Usually the forfeit would be just loser shouts out the winner on their podcast. But he twisted it around and said that the loser should record a shout out for the winner on their podcast which is actually considerably better for exposure on the winner's podcast - Trash Taste which like he said, has a larger audience. This way, losing actually became much more preferable for Ludwig than if it was the former.
Didn't he say WINNER records a shout-out to be played on the loser's podcast?
I think the trash taste guys will record a video to be played on the yard, not the other way around.

@@lenac6999 yeah but if you watched the stream, he said that, then they were like “maybe it’s better for the winner to make a video and then the losers have to take that video and put it in their podcast”, cause they said then the losers wouldn’t have a chance to be insincere about shouting out another podcast cause they lost or make a joke about it

I watched this event live it was absolutely fantastic. The casters swapping around between matches made for so many fun perspectives and kept it all so much more engaging. All in all I would absolutely Love more stuff like this.
This was such a huge event, big props! Kinda sad though that the epic commentary from Ted & Connor and from Connor & Joey didn't make the cut.

I'm absolutely amazed to realize AttackingTucans was in this event, I remember looking at their versus series so so long ago. Mario galaxy, sunshine, luigi's mansion, sonic generations... etc.

Very cool to see this game being played on UA-cam. My friends and I play a version of this all the time. We changed Full beers to half beers (just so we can go longer, since we do an All Cup Tour Typically) and removed the requirement that you come to a complete stop. We found that when the complete stop rule is implemented, the optimal strategy is just always to chug at the start line. Without the stop requirement, there are more strategies that work. Since we play Double Dash as well, we call it Mario Kart: Drunk Driver instead since it acronyms out to MKDD as well.
Have to invite schlatt to the next one him and Connor on a team would be hilarious plus he’s a great Mario cart player

Troy was the first UA-camr I ever watched over a decade ago and it’s so cool to see some of the biggest content creators acknowledge him as a legend in the MK community

I'd love to see another one, and I think Mango needs to come back. But he has to be on hard mode. Like he has to finish 2 beers for everyone else's 1. He chugs fast, and can drink non-stop and stay sober. He needs to be nerfed.

I cannot tell you how ecstatic I was when I saw Tyler was in this tournament. I've been one of his biggest fans since he was doing versus.
Breaking it up into two groups made the tournament goated, drinkers got a break and you can see their reaction to the competition

Play this at uni, a few rules we initiated to spice it up a bit. 1. Can’t drink on lap one 2. You can’t consume all of your drink on one lap. E.g you have to drink on both laps 2 and 3, it makes the game substantially more interesting as you initiate a bit of strategy

There's actually a secret hidden feature for a 12 player LAN race on MK8D. You have to do a certain command after you hook up the LAN device with several switch docks.
You should do this on a Mogul Money Live-esque scale. Vibes are always immaculate during Beerio Kart, so much fun to watch
