We did this with a rider at the Riding for Disabled coaches' training. The difference was, she started off on the lead and then we had people at each letter of the arena, so as she approached we had to call out the letter repetitively. We were experimenting the way they do it for blind competitors in dressage competitions. It was an 'eye opening' experience!
I just saw this for the first time. Impressive! Seeing as how this started as a dare, you were worried about your surroundings. However, if you could figure out how to safely do a training video, use this as a teaching experience, highlighting the importance of trust between horse and rider. Also, to stress the importance of using all of your senses, instead of just sight. When you can’t see when you’re centered on the horse, you have to rely on feel. Unless you have already done this. Or highlight a local equine therapist stable. Here in Alabama, we have Alabama School for the Deaf and Blind. They have an indoor arena where I think they teach those with disabilities how to ride. Thank you for such informative videos. One of these days, I’m gonna learn to ride.
If I am going to be completely honest she is so brave for doing this bc I would not be able to do this with my horse bc she is very spooky and I have only had her for 2 months so she is not really used to me and would most likely buck me off, so I don't think she is getting enough credit for her bravery.
This could be so dangerous but I’m sure you wouldn’t do it if you knew Tucker would put you in a dangerous situation. So fun to watch. Also, please make Collin do this!
tuckers like ," now she knows how I feel in my fly mask"
Most impressive thing is how nicely Tucker moved in and out of a trot.
Omg, when you mounted with your reins crossed. I started having visions of what might happen.
She‘s so good omfg
And then there‘s me who got super excited when I got the halter on the horse
Without a blindfold
Okay, I think every rider knows the heart attakc kind of feeling when your horse spooks

My anxiety when i clicked on it

What do you call a horse that lives next door to you?
A neigh-bor!
ohhh my trainer would hate this 😂
This is the ultimate trust exercise. Screw not having reins, not having eyes is the way to go.
OMG YOU HAVE A LOT OF CONFIDENCE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That’s like me tacking when I CAN see!
This is such a good idea!
I COULD have done this on my old mare , but my young mare no way shed take my head off on a branch or something
looks as scary as riding backwards
The epic side eye at 3:22-3:23 😅
I wanna get that blindfold, looks comfy
You did so well tho🥰

That's scary.
Hi . I am the first viewer of the video
i was the first lol
Y'all! 😌🙄
This could be so dangerous but I’m sure you wouldn’t do it if you knew Tucker would put you in a dangerous situation. So fun to watch. Also, please make Collin do this!
I got you sold him
She didn’t sell him, she mentioned in one of her other videos that she nearly did.
Hilarious!!!!!!
I would get sea sick very quickly.
I rode my horse with no bridle or saddle no nothin today and you rode blindfolded
Why didn't you blindfold your horse instead of you that would have made much more sense
Maybe not the most brilliant idea.
No a smart idea very dangerous
