- Here is a quick crash course on important night fishing techniques for striped bass. Whether you are jetty fishing or surf fishing at night, it is always important to have a good gameplan. Fishing the jetties and surf at night can be more productive than fishing during the day. The lures and fishing gear you choose will be important. The fish are not as weary while hunting in the darkness of the night.

Night fishing is great but you need to be prepared. A couple of different baits and tackle combinations along wirh some pre-selected spots. Even deep sea night fishing can be a unique experience if you don't need to move around too much. Good video though. I'd love to see more night surf fishing videos, maybe even a short series. Thanks!

I have a question how do I get heavier line for a reel but I would like to use braid if I switch to a 50lb braid will my reel be able to handle that if it recommends 20-30lb fluorocarbon
20/30 pound flourish is pretty thick so I think you will be okay. You might not be able to cast as far but just spoil it up and try it!! Let me know how it goes!

Black and purple is my favorite color for dark. Doesn’t need to be glow

Haha it was pretty safe and gentle in this particular situation, not too slippery but we were a little nervous so that’s why we moved to the flats. Definitely would not recommend trying this at home!

How do i pick the best spots to fish on a kayak?
It depends on what kind of water you are fishing! Kayaks are great for reaching all sorts of spots you wouldn’t be able to on shore. Where are you from?
@@HeySkipper im from long island ny. Mostly salt water, there's pretty good spots here. I just bought my first kayak and wanted a few tips. Great job on your videos by the way. Learned a lot from you
@@jvd731 if you have a fishfinder look for drop offs. Like one moment it'll be 10 ft then you move a little it'll be 30 ft. Those are usually where the fish will be hanging out.

Why kill every thing that is living. We fish for sport here in Australia to. There's to much kill and no trophy fish anymore. A photo lasts a long time a feed turns to poo.

LOL you must be from Asian country like Malaysia where there is no fishing regulation there, it's terrible because of overfishing by most folks who don't practice catch & release. Plus, their government are pretty slow on illegal fishing activities.
