We are back with another Tesla Model Y Long Range (rented from Hertz in Edmonton, Canada) road trip video series. This time we travel to Jasper National Park for some EV camping, sightseeing as well as rest and relaxation. This is Part 1...stay tuned for Parts 2 and 3 in the coming weeks! Have you been on any EV road trips recently?
A friend of mine has had both tesla plaid and porsche taycan, he sold both and got the Y performance because it has the best visibility, utility and usable performance out of them all.
Agree. All around great EV and if you need the performance there is a version for you. For me the Long Range is the sweet spot and I recommend it to most first time EV buyers.
TMLR delivered 3.07 mi/kWh very impressive 13:56 considering the cold and rain. When the EV9 becomes available in Canada would like to see a similar test with 'Camp Mode'.

Camping in an EV is always fun!
It sure is! Beats sleeping in a tent, especially when the temperature gets colder.
Cool video. I would def choose a Tesla for any long road trips, charging is just so effortless.
It really is. Makes long drives easy and convenient.
Awesome video guys🫶🍂!!!
Thank you!

What version auto pilot does a hertz Tesla come equipped with?
Just standard autopilot. I think the cost of the other versions is too much, Hertz wants to keep costs as low as possible when buying the Teslas.

The EV9 is definitely on my list of cars to test. Will need to figure out a way to get my hands on one when it becomes available in Canada.
