- The Kiwanis Ski Club Pine Mountain Snowmobile Hill Climb.. This hill was impossible to climb! Only one rider made it to the top.. They all had a chance to change the course, making it easier but choose not too.. Iron Mountain Tourism Association & Ojibwa Casino Snowmobile Hill Climb Series - Hill Climb at Pine Mountain Results: Pro Mod King of the HIll-Jordan Stank, Stoughton, WI.-Polaris. Pro Stock King of the Hill-Kyle Wadaga, Baraga, MI-Polars. Pro Open Mod-Jordan Stank. Pro Mod 800-Kyle Wadaga. Pro Mod 700-Matt Cook, Green Bay, WI.-Arctic Cat. Pro Mod 600-Jason Kleinschmidt, Merrill, WI.-Yamaha. Pro Open Stock-Wadaga. Pro Stock 800-Wadaga. Pro Stock 700-Layne Stank, Menominee, MI.-Polaris. Pro Stock 600-Kleinschmidt. First and Second Round, only ONE driver made it through the Timing Shute-Kyle Wadaga in the 1st Round of Pro Stock 800. NO driver made it through the Timing Shute in the 2nd Round. ALL winners were High Mark. King of the Hill Shoot-out, some gates were pulled. NO driver in the Pro Stock King of the Hill made it all the way through the timing Shute. Wadaga made it all the way to the end of the Timing Shute before hitting a cone to win based upon HIgh Mark. In the Pro Mod King of the Hill Shoot-out, Jordan Stank had a time of 29.80 seconds, followed by Matt "Cowboy" Cook with a 30.69, Wadaga had a 33.69. This was the MOST CHALLENGING Hill Climb for many years.

Pretty cool. I got here from mountain biking some how, but I have ridden an old mx z, and could totally appreciate what the riders were trying to climb. Almost like the discipline is like trials riding for sleds.
I was there that day and watched from the lifts!!! lol

After 20 plus years of riding sleds, this is the type of terrain that intrigued me the most, and I was never very good at it... Bravo to the real men who were there giving it a shot, and to the rest of you "post-war Generals" listed below, some of us know better [c;

I am an official for this great race circuit and I challenge all the people with negative comments to come and conquer the hills we set up , since it is sooooooo easy for all of you. If you can get to the top evan once I will take money out of my pocket and repay you for each class you make it to the top.. put your sled on the line and go to the top. Jeremy

I may have another hillclimb this size coming in a few months.. Yes, this hill is way steeper than it looks. It was once a landing area for a ski jump.

They won't let them race this hill anymore. There is an ice drag on Feb 7th in Sagola, MI & the first hill climb is Caspian, MI on Feb 21st. Other hill climbs at Keyes Ski hill and Norway Mountain Ski hill.

There will always be a slalom course no matter the snow depth. Work with what you got and show what you know. A few made it, so they knew something.
Definitely should have been drag or timed kind of lay out. Had I showed up at this event my sled would have stayed in the trailer. Still love the channel tho!
