Iron Mountain Tourism Association & Ojibwa Casino Snowmobile Hill Climb Series - Hill Climb at Pine Mountain Results: Pro Mod King of the HIll-Jordan Stank, Stoughton, WI.-Polaris. Pro Stock King of the Hill-Kyle Wadaga, Baraga, MI-Polars. Pro Open Mod-Jordan Stank. Pro Mod 800-Kyle Wadaga. Pro Mod 700-Matt Cook, Green Bay, WI.-Arctic Cat. Pro Mod 600-Jason Kleinschmidt, Merrill, WI.-Yamaha. Pro Open Stock-Wadaga. Pro Stock 800-Wadaga. Pro Stock 700-Layne Stank, Menominee, MI.-Polaris. Pro Stock 600-Kleinschmidt. First and Second Round, only ONE driver made it through the Timing Shute-Kyle Wadaga in the 1st Round of Pro Stock 800. NO driver made it through the Timing Shute in the 2nd Round. ALL winners were High Mark. King of the Hill Shoot-out, some gates were pulled. NO driver in the Pro Stock King of the Hill made it all the way through the timing Shute. Wadaga made it all the way to the end of the Timing Shute before hitting a cone to win based upon HIgh Mark. In the Pro Mod King of the Hill Shoot-out, Jordan Stank had a time of 29.80 seconds, followed by Matt "Cowboy" Cook with a 30.69, Wadaga had a 33.69. This was the MOST CHALLENGING Hill Climb for many years.

modern factory turbos would do the same things shoot the 1 foot of snow out the back and spin on frozen ground

These guys need to run 155’s with cut and studded paddles and practice riding in the backcountry. The snow does look like this though.
When the first 5 guys can barely get up the course its time to change the path or shoot the planner.

They should go somewhere where there is snow! No bottom, thats why there is so much trouble getting up.

the problem with this slope is that there's like 2 feet of fresh snow and frozen dirt under, no grip what so ever.

Lesson learned... don’t ride a short track in powder
Kai Murnane I ride a 144 and I do fine in two three feet of powder and my sled it a 03 Polaris edge
Avery Kienbaum I ride a 08 skidoo xp 146 with 2.5” lugs and I do fine in 3-5’ if it’s light enough

if it was a turbo you could just go straight up the hill. if it wasn't for the turns the hill climb is pretty easy.

They would have all made it if it was straight regards of turbo.

Barely any snow over the grass and dirt on the slope. Sadly this was the only time it was allowed on this hill. I do have another hill worth looking at if you live up near this area. Check out my vids from "Keyes Peak" in Florence, WI.
