„You can See the light blinking“ ... I couldn‘t See anything at the frontside of the machine, because of the enormous light that reflects from the machine into the camera.
This is my forst prosumer machine. I am worried about water that is used. Could i use filtered water from BRITA? I have no idea about osmosis, distilled water that you mentions. Thank you. Btw, this is very usedful and helpful information especially for novice like me. Thank you again
Seem to always be out of stock on the lehit water filters, maybe you should do a group buy or something. Same thing goes for the wooden handle upgrade for PL62 variants. Tad confused why you bothered to show it, but didn't bother to run it, alot of people are interested in this "very quiet" vibratory pump.
Thank you for this great video, I’m just not sure what you mean by steam mode or espresso mode. If I’m making a latte do I need to switch between modes when I heat the milk up?
This really seems functionally just about perfect.. although you dont exactly dial temp has great reviews on temp control. Seems you can steam and brew at same time.. well built etc. Why would I buy a larger machine? is that number of back to back drinks that say a Synchronica would make ?
I am for making an Update from a Lelit PL41 TEM. But I can not decide if the MaraX or the PL92T Elizabeth is better, or better for me. If I take the problem of easy of usage, yes the PL 92T is the winner, for me even the problem of how much space it takes on your kitchen kabinet is for PL92T(I have no deepnes of it) but the real question is: which machine makes the better taste coffe without modifications(yes I kown the MaraX can be upgraded wit E61 manometer or profilation lever). And yes I like that old style shining E61 grouphead. Thank you in advance for your answers
@@AzizIzgin Oh yes meanwhile I choose something else because I get a one in a lifetime offering at that time from my local Lelit dealer! From july last year I am a happy and proud owner of a Lelit Bianca PL 162T Version 2. And yes I love it, somehow I manage it with the lack of space in my kitchen desk, and it is a win win situation. It looks good and operates superbly, I love every morning and afternoon when I prepare espresso/latte for me and my wife...
@@peterandras if I am coming from a single boiler machine like the gaggia classic for example.... are machines like this with dual boilers and e61 harder to clean and more maintenance that singe boilers? I am leaning towards Elisabeth due to the dual boiler and lcc actually. Although I like Mara x and Bianca design more. Nice to hear that you are enjoying your machine :)
Coming from a a Breville Barista and looking for the most reasonable prosumer coffee machine, I wonder if, based on your experience you would recommend it over another brand/model like ECM Classika/ Expobar Minore IV/ Quick Mill/ etc which here in Australia are priced similarly? Thank you!!
Hi Jim, great review for Lelit MaraX. I’ve received mine 2 weeks ago but I wanna ask you if I want to change the e61 group gasket which one should I use, the 8mm thickness or 8.5mm one ?
Both 8mm and 8.5mm will fit. A lot of people say the 8mm is the same size of the standard gasket, but I'm personally using an 8.5 and have had no issues.
Best part about this espresso machine is that it costs less than $ 20,000! Yay! Being totally sarcastic. I don't know or even want to know how expensive it really is D:
Breville has used 2 pids in their espresso machines for at least a decade. One measuring the boiler and one in the group head, resulting in extremely accurate temperatures with no flushing required. Is there a reason that e61s costing 3 to 6 times the Breville units are unable to achieve reliable temperature stability? Is the e61 design the limiting factor? I'm also guessing something about the e61 design doesn't allow for true preinfusion, which is why they can only turn on briefly to dampen the puck, rather than actually producing a lower pressure pre-infusion phase? I want to upgrade my current BDB but I'm a little disappointed with the technical inferiority of e61 groups considering the price
@DriftRS - I dont know what type of car you drive but think of it this way, your car get you from point A to point B it has all the fancy tricks one would expect from a modern car - but when that prancing black horse from italy pulls into the car park we all know why everyone looking at it ! saying it is technically inferior because it only seats two may not be accurate! True both get you where you want to be but some care about the experience more than others :)
E61's have been going a lot longer than the various Breville models. Before PID's were around. That leads to a split in manufacturers approach. Adapt/utilise new tech as many have done incorporating PID's and those that marketed as traditional machines where a bit of personal skill became part of the espresso process in determining flush, shots etc. There was even (aftermarket) symptomatic approaches with a temp gauge in the group head. The number of PID's though is not the criterion for determining how good an espresso machine is. Construction materials, delivery process, heat regulation, shot consistency, user involvement all contribute. Compare some vids of the internals of a Breville vs a LeLit MaraX for e.g. and see how much functional/adjustable it is. The Breville/Sage machines breakdown far, far more often than std H61's. I had 4 in a row over 9 years cause they were cheap. They didn't last, sure fair shots but cleaning a pain. Now I have one of these baby's at the 6 month mark, substantially better coffee output, reliability and a daily cleaning routine that's easy as. As the wife said, why didn't you buy one sooner.
An excellent review. Thanks for being so thorough and giving the history and the why behind a lot of the features.
Excellent video with great explanation of how to care for the machine.

Excellent presentation.
Great comprehensive review.
Thanks God to this guy italy learned how to make an espresso machine!!!! Needs to improve his camera tough!
I bet your Italian counterparts love the single basket!😇

When do we get a demo of the machine? Must be a hot machine. sold out already.
what do you mean by good water? Even not distilled or RO? Can u explain? Cause I’m buying one shortly
Can I use distilled + add own mineral content like third wave water to make it become mineral coffee water?
Is this machine better than T version? And does it have some kind of descaling program built in, or instructions?
The lighting on this video needs work. Can barely see front features of the machine 😢

No it automatically adjusts

Hey given the choice which would you take. The Mara X or the Profitec Pro 500??

Your site seems to be down
Love to buy one of these!
Can you not use brita water?
