Thanks for the tip, and great machine! How much can I expect the boiler pressure to increase when increasing the temperature?

If you increase the temperature from 122°C to 124°C, you only get 6,7% more pressure.This not terrific at all, but it might help.

To decrease the temp you do a cooling flush before pulling a shot.

How does this affect the functionality of the 3 way PID temperature switch found behind the drip tray? Also, what does this method offer which the 3 way switch is flipped to hottest setting doesn't do?

You are refering to the Mara "X" model witch is different from the one in this video.

Has anyone tried to install a switch on their pl62 so you can alternate between the two temperatures? Mauro, is this possible?
