I love it when they allow you to swim right over the spring it always makes for the best underwater landscape and textures
Absolutely
A gorgeous alien world, and it's this world. The photography is off the charts in this video, Jesse: so many gorgeous effects of light and color. So peaceful.
It was so magical down in the depths of the source of the spring
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Stunning clear water ... no alligators 😂 !!! A California Gramma ❤
Thanks Anne
That crystal clear blue water looked amazing!
It was so beautiful
beautiful pool... like a lot of NYers my grandma had a place in FL/ she was in Astor we went to Alexander Springs from there, saw some others as well/ so nice to revisit FL springs this way, thanks for taking us with you
How was Alexander Springs? I haven't been to that one yet
@@JesseStLouis it is nice but pretty small. the big draw for some is the spring is deep and you can watch scuba divers go down into the hole which was not much bigger in diameter than a person from what i recall but it was many years ago... lots of little fish to see snorkeling. It's a public beach i think with a snack bar and that sort of thing, local swimming hole more or less... there might be other stuff up there worth making the trip for im not sure.. i guess you'll have to look for some videos and see if it is worth making one of your own.... they're all so nice and that blue blue florida freshwater is beautiful....
Amazing, I wish we had water that clear and caves like that here in California.
I've seen water that clear a few time in SoCal, San Bernardino Mountains and in Los Padres
The sea caves at Leo Carillo are pretty cool
@@JesseStLouis neat, I'll need to check those out sometime. I've driven out that way many times, mostly to get out to the Point Mugu area.
That was another one of my favorites from Florida. We kayaked to it from Ginnie Springs in 2015, but they wouldn't let us get out of the water unless we paid the entry fee, and we didn't have any money on us. It had a jumping platform back then, and even eight years later, I'm still kind of bummed that I didn't get to jump off it. 😆
What a weird thing not to let you get out? Was it really crowded? There wasn't even anyone around to enforce something like that
@@JesseStLouis There weren't many people there, but it was a privately owned park until the state acquired it in 2017, so I guess management was different. An employee approached us as we paddled up and said we could snorkel the pool, but we would have to pay the entry fee to use their on-land facilities, since they are a separate park from Ginnie Springs. This is what it looked like before the state took it over, if you're curious: ua-cam.com/video/du0mYZbf8os/v-deo.html
