I hope you all have been doing well during these strange times, and I hope you're getting out for some healthy, safe time in the outdoors. In this Moto-Vlog, I explore some mountain passes that I've always been curious about seeing, and also check in with my audience.

Beautiful landscape, great vid.
Hey just want to say I miss getting more videos from you. but understand... hope every thing is still good ...
@What's Up? From what i've seen he's taking a long break from youtube but the way i see it with the current environment and Terms of service that youtube has changed so much i can easily see why gear related content creators need a break and don't feel that same incentive to post plus time with the family has taken the priority.
@What's Up? Well, he is back
Hope you are doing well man! God bless!
Shane, I love your moto vlogs just as much as your gear reviews! Glad you're doing well and I hope all is well with your family!
Enjoyed it. Very chill.
That mic system is awesome! Beautiful country in Utah. I’ve been wanting to get some laying chickens . Apparently, if you fence in your garden and unleash the chickens they will clean out all the bugs and fertilize the ground. Two birds one stone! Take care bud.
These chickens are fertilizer machines! Glad you liked the audio-I've spent a lot of time trying to make it sound okay.
The Late Boy Scout sounds good bud keep it up!
I’d love a “how to drive or ride a motorcycle in dirt”!Love these vids.
Thanks. Unfortunately, I'm not really the guy for that. I suggest following Bret Tkacs, Mototrek, Everide, and FortNine for some good off road tips and techniques.
You could watch my channel for "How NOT to" haha
I was watching your last video and thinking how much I miss your bike rides. Thanks for coming through with one. There’s a chimney rock in Nc. Take care and God Bless
We moved to Saratoga Springs last year and I just drove around chimney rock pass a couple weeks ago. Cedar valley is awesome.
Props for making videos that you like, regardless of view numbers. In the end, the channel is yours and its awesome to create something that you like.
I love that ride. Took my KLR through there last year! Need to do again. You should look into the Elberta slant road pass. It's just south of chimney rock pass.
Will do. Thanks for the tip. I have a feeling I've been there, but not on my bike.
Been riding most of my life, MC clips are just fine. In the early days I used tank bags, now I'm a Harley bagger. Weapons tests good. Blessed to report no negative plague issues except I've learned I don't like to home school! God bless the teachers. Thanks, you have a nice day also!
I spent a fair amount of time in Cedar valley back in the day. There were not that many people out there back then.
I used to keep a tank bag secured with just the magnets. Then I rode in a couple storms. It sucks when you get caught in wind like that, and on top of everything else, you have to keep your bag from flying away.
Six months? Where is The late Boy Scout?
Chillin
I need help. Does anyone know the original edge angle degree for the Cold Steel Recon 1 Spear Point S35VN?
Keep the motovlogs coming 👌
Stay tuned
Awesome ride! Thanks for taking us along👍👍 BTW, what tires are you running?
Thanks! Shinko 700's.
I love your motovlogs. I've just bought motorcycles for myself and wife. Never rode in my life (I'm 43) but the challenge is exciting, and to be honest a bit anxiety-inducing. I hope all is well with you and yours.
Where are you get on rumble
Could you just say hi ?
Hi!
I guess this guy finally gave up on the UA-cam scene.
That's an oversimplification, but not too far off.
@@TheLateBoyScout What happened ?
Crazy health issues, not related to covid. Working full time at 30% manpower, a pay cut, and helping take care of my elderly parents. I'm burnt out.
I have a big yard and let my brother-in-law keep chickens in my yard for 3 years. They stayed in the coop a lot but were let out to feed all the time. You know what I got absolutely sick of- stepping in chicken crap. Hope it goes better with you bro! Also, I work in the lab that tests for covid antibodies. 3 coworkers have gotten sick and another 2 left early today not feeling well. We had to cut a lot of hours at work since people weren't visiting the hospitals. Now it's busy again and we are understaffed. Then I come home and read all the FB posts that criticize my efforts, and now all the posts about how I have white privilege. I had to drive through downtown SLC after a long day of work yesterday. I'm exhausted and need some time in the mountains away from people and their problems. Take care Shane.
I want to buy 1 camping knife is there anything better then bk9 for $115?
I miss riding. Lost everything including my bikes. Working my way back.
Sorry, man. Best of luck.
We’re not affected at all!(me and my wife) We’re in Jacksonville NC
I live in southern Utah. Where’s Chimney Rock? Love your videos! We’re a dirt bike family, and we’re thinking of getting an adventure bike. What do you think of your Kawasaki?
Thanks! Chimney Rock is in the South West part of Utah County, near Elberta. The KLR is a budget adventure bike for sure. It's on the heavy side, and kinda low horsepower for it's weight. That said, it's still a capable, and very reliable bike. Great way to get into adventure riding.
The Late Boy Scout oh, I thought it was north quite a bit! I’d like a BMW, uh, money! More of a touring bike for both of us. Hubs wants a KTM adventure bike. We will see! Thanks so much!
@@patticulver442 I'd love an Africa Twin, myself. But yeah, $$$. Thanks for watching.
The nubs rode a friend’s Africa Twin a couple of weeks ago! Nice bike!
Sure miss your videos, hope everything is ok with you!
I'm good. Just enjoying a long break. Thanks!
I like the motorcycle videos, I am thinking of adding a small displacement adventure bike to my MT-07.
Hope you are well. Drop us a message if u can...would be good to know you are fine.
What happened to this guy ? Really enjoyed the videos !
Thanks! I’m still pretty active on Facebook and Instagram, but I’m on break from Video-making for UA-cam.
@@TheLateBoyScout I’ll send you over a like then on FB ! Take care you have awesome videos
Great choice with hammerless. Love how you are true to yourself and your channel. I agree that those that dont want to watch, eventually you will put something on they will enjoy🤙 I have been doing the same thing vlogging with wife and family. Was a pretty ride and the audio sounded crystal clear🤙
Thanks, Todd. I've spent a lot of time ironing out my helmet mic system, and I think I'm finally happy. Probably had the levels too high though.
Nice done new friend here stay connect
you haven't uploaded in 5 months are you ok?
I'm great actually. Enjoying a long break.
@@TheLateBoyScout great to hear, enjoy your break and come back when you're ready, you have a ton of people who love your content no matter how small it is. have a good one sir, we will be here.
Ah man, I thought you were passing by Chimney Rock in Nebraska! Great video anyway!
And yes I've been furloughed from REI but it's still all good.
