  • In this video, Claudio Pesolillo from Purasca in Ticino shows and explains to me a few details of his first hand-made model of his new gauge 1 locomotive model of the Swiss crocodile Be 6/8 II or Ce 6/8 II in a scale of 1to32. The model is to be produced in 15 different variants according to operating conditions from 1919 to the turn of the millennium. The locomotives, which are hand-made from brass, are to be delivered at the end of 2025. The video then briefly shows three models in gauge 0m and some accessories as well as the gauge 1 locomotive A 3/5-700. Then Claudio Pesolillo shows and explains how his transport box, which is included with all locomotives, works, using the example of the already sold-out SBB steam locomotive Eb 3/5 "Habersack". Finally, he also shows me a few details on the SBB covered freight car K3.
The video interview was recorded on June 29, 2024 at the Gauge 1 trade fair in the Ampflwang locomotive park of the ÖGEG (Austrian Society for Railway History).
The video consists of the following sections, which can be accessed directly with the mouse and can also be selected in the timeline:
    00:00 Welcome Claudio Pesolillo
00:20 Moving parts Be 6/8 II hand sample
01:00 Driver's cab, digital decoder, delivery date
    01:42 Gauge 0m models, RhB crocodile, ...
    02:03 Interior fittings, magnetic bellows
    02:39 SBB A 3/5-700
02:59 Transport box with SBB Eb 3/5 "Habersack"
04:41 Covered freight car SBB K3
    06:07 Farewell Claudio Pesolillo
After I am repeatedly asked in video comments about the prices of the new products I show - the price for the crocodile Be 6/8 II or Ce 6/8 II is not yet fixed.

The workmanship on these models is absolutely stunning and superlative.... how many hours wend into these ? not only the locomotives & wagon, but likewise the accessory's like that dining table, the bikes.. the harmonica's for wagon connection.
And last but not least that superbly crafted wooden box for that tender locomotive....
Imagine a diorama featuring these models.......
