Hi Jaunter. Liked very much your straight talking no nonsense revue on the Dean Cadi X. I have the same model guitar which I picked up used and slightly damaged for only £30... I swapped out the humbuckers for Wilkinson's, replaced the nut and control knobs and now she's rocking for minimal outlay. I was pleased to watch your video as nobody I know has seen or heard this guitar. I guess the shape is not to everybody's liking...but it sure gets noticed when I take it out. Thanks also for explaining the neck plate strap button, as it really baffled me how to attach the strap to this half of the guitar. Glad you're feeling better, and keep up the good work. Col.
I love that the strap peg is at the bolt on plate. Keeps the guitar from weighing down it's neck. Honestly all guitars should have that. That's just my preference.
At first hated this shape but kind of growing on me now. I love Gibson SG guitars and view Cadi as a cousin of it. Will check it out but gotta be neck thru.

Thanks a lot! Yeah the caddy gets lots of undeserved hate, it is such a cool shape and the X Dean series is not as horrible as some people told me

It's a good system in bolt ons to not have any extra holes in the guitars, and it definitely helps with balance

Same, this shape is best of two worlds for me, really good guitar that gets shunned or under appreciated
Juanter kinda like the steinberger the headless guitar the explorer by Gibson or the firebird by Gibson
The Explorer shape is fairly well known due to James Hatfield.
