I discovered that one not too long ago, definitely saves a lot of time, thank you.
I love that there are so many different ways to handle similar things, depending on the project needs. Some peole might think, "Well just turn up that channel fader" which will turn up everything on that track... but if you have a handful of sections that were quieter and need to boost them up to be as loud as the rest, this works really well.

I tired selecting two clips like you said but when I mak the volume +10 DB and select the individual clips again, the volume is defaulting to -99.0. How to solve it?
EDIT Solved it. I just had to reset the audio to 0. Then the settings I made at once for all individual clips worked.
The volume setting is greyed out for the clips I select
Make sure you don’t have other limitations like a track locked or a track selected in that group which has not audio to adjust

Hi, I have multiple different audio clips in multiple different tracks on the timeline, and if one or two of the selected audio clips dont have the same volume or pan as the other ones, trying to edit the pan or volume to let's say, 0, does not give a single change and is greyed out. Is there a faster way to do something like this? (I am trying to select all of the audio clips and change it to 0 pan quickly without having to check if each selection is greyed out or not).
Depends on a lot of factors like if the tracks are recorded stereo and the pan exists in the the original track.
But, if it’s a simple matter of you having a lot of mono, centered tracks that you’ve panned me way or another in Resolve and want to quickly have them all centered… select all the tracks and although the pan slider will be greyed out, you can still turn pan off for all tracks at once
I'm not playing with the audio yet but can you use the middle line to do it?
You can. It's far less precise though

Hello, Thanks for your videos. They are great. Do you know a way to add several audio clips at once to different video clips in the same timeline? I have for example 10 video clips and I have 10 audios .was and I am wondering if i can add all of them at the same time, one clic per video. Video 1, clip 1, etc..
You could select them all in the media pool and bring them in all at once into an audio track but you’d still have to align them for length to match each clip
. @Daniel_Batal thanks for your answer.. I thougt that may be using time codes or something ( i don't know well davinci..) but something i can put marks and after when i bring all of them together from the media pool they will just go one to each mark.. but there is nothing like that no?

It does, it's just far less precise.
What I need help with is, I have 2 different tracks, one microphone and one display sound, but when I click and drag it selects everything, from the video to both tracks, I just want the one, thanks
Two things:
Make sure the tracks aren’t linked (right click, bottom option).
Make sure the track you don’t want to move is either locked or not has autoselect on

I'm not sure I understand the question. What do you mean by "Merge"?
Love your channel! Can you help me (again😅)...plleeeaasssee...I think this is not the exact short I was looking for...I'm asking myself...okay, here's the situation:
Clip 1 / 8Min. I want to mute the original sound but add different sounds to it
Clip 2, EXAKT SAME VIDEO...just added AGAIN right behind the first one in the timeline BUT this time, in the second half I DON'T want the Original sound to be muted. It's a matter of fact in the second half I ONLY want the Original sound.
How does this work? THANK YOU AS ALWAYS!!!

Okay.
First clip, right click on it and unlclick “Link” at the bottom of the drop down menu.
Now the audio will be separated from the video for the first clip.
Click anywhere in the grey area of the timeline and then select the audio section.
It will highlight without highlighting the audio because they are now ‘unlinked’.
Hit Backspace on you keyboard and it will delete the audio without changing the timeline.
Now add the same clip again by dragging it down from the media pool after the first and you’ll be good to go
@@Daniel_BatalTHANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!!! I will try that out to. What I did try though...I just pulled down the Audio Line of the first video until the sound was gone. And since the first video is not connected to the second one (they look like I hit the CUT button) are not connected to each other I was able to adjust the sound in the second one also as I did with that line in Timeline, the Audioline I guess...it seems that it worked. BUT i will definitely try out what you told me. THANK YOU!
