AUDIO! The audio mix and levels on this video are masterful! His locations constantly changed but his audio levels remained perfectly consistent. How? Amazing! This was done outdoors and on location. Very tough environment to edit in. This guy’s production quality is through the roof!

One detail I didnt hear anyone talk about is the renaming of the chip to A 17 _pro._ This is a clear sign that the regular iPhone 16 wont get the pro chip a year later, but probably a regular a17 next year. The a17 pro has a dedicated USB section, which allows faster speeds and saving videos directly to external drives. Also the hardware ray tracing. I expect this features to remain exclusive to the “pro” iPhone models, simply based on the naming a17 pro instead of just a17
It's also Apple Vision Pro.. so the name doesn't have to mean anything.. but ur right.. would be strange If Apple would start adding nice features to their phones (like a 120HZ display or even a USB-C 3 or 3.2 port... but thats probably to expensive in production.. we have to keep in mind that it's only a 1000 Bugs)

Well, 120 Hz burns more battery and is not necessary for the majority of people. So they focus on actually great things like Face ID :D
@@PfropfNo1120 Hz doesn't burn more battery when it's done correctly i.e (Adaptive Smoothing) which changes the refresh rate depending on what's on your screen, and most people can actually tell the difference between 60 and 120 Hz, but maybe not higher than that. Also, face ID isn't as practical as a fingerprint for example, you can unlock your phone with a fingerprint faster and in any condition e.g (lying down or in poor light conditions) whereas with face ID you need a good picture of your face, it's a cool feature but not that important imo.

I'm an android user, so I might be a little biased, but I think the biggest improvement is the switched charger. Now, I'm not upgrading to this phone, I have a perfectly fine S21+, but the switch to USB - C is a game changer like you said. Even though some people may not be happy at start, Over time, people will realize the true potential and worth of this new charger port
I think he failed to mention that you still have to use the standard apple only USB-C charger, while it does indeed support third party USB - C its speed will be like that of a lightning cable

As a left handed person, I LOVE the action button! I can see myself using it on a regular basis, all I have to do it reach up like a forth of an inch and push it with my thumb.
As I was watching this, I just couldn't stop being impressed at how informative and full of insight this video was - not only because it was shot and scripted in such a short space of time, but because it really captured every thought about the new Iphones extremely well. You're comment about being a Pro user and expanding ones line of Pro products is spot on. I have been an iPhone user since 2009 and I bought my first Pro Max model when it was introduced in the iPhone 11 line of phones. Since then I have had a 13 Pro Max and I just bought a 15 Pro Max last week. But my collection, so to speak, of Apple Pro products started with that iPhone 11 Pro Max; I upgraded my iPad to a Pro in 2019, my wife bought me a MacBook Pro in 2020, and I have owned a pair of the first generation of Air Pods Pro and I now have a pair of the Air Pods Pro 2. I am a perfect example of what you're talking about here, as is my wife and a lot of other people I know.
Your right I've been a pro user for my last 4 phones. Never going back and loving the newer camera.
Just to reiterate, you absolutely nailed this video. Every niche detail of the new iPhones I was contemplating, like the lack of 77mm portrait lens (is 120mm too far) and the real usefulness of the action button, are covered here.

@@jajamidusisuki9900 not worse, it’s just that fixed 77mm-ish full frame equiv lens on the PRO is much more convenient for portraits.
The 120mm on the PM is quite far, and to get to 77mm ish mm focal length on the PM you’ll need to crop the main sensor I believe.
Having this video up on the same day as the phone's launch while still having this much detail is amazing. Good job Arun.

It’s actually thicker to accommodate the back glass. Since it comes off as a separate part for better repairability, there is a structural metal plate with the glass and one that stays on the mid frame…

@@BabyMessi_it's not just for gamers bruh, have U ever experienced 120hz, it's so much smoother. The only reason u don't get it in the base model is Apple's upselling and so they have a bigger profit.
They will first put 90hz in the iPad Air product and sell it under the name of Air Motion😂😂
Besides the new action button which I’m totally on board with just like the Apple Watch Ultra, I’m most intrigued by being able to shoot “3D Vision Pro” video right off the iPhone Pro to be played on Vision headsets years down-the-line. That’s extremely alluring man!
I dunno about the action button , I kinda liked the the old switch , and I use it a fair bit , and it will be interesting to see if the new button can get activated by accident , which the old one could not.
But yes the 3D vision looks cool.

I feel the only significant change in the iPhone is the USB-C port, which everyone is talking about. This change, in hindsight, happened because they were compelled to do so by the EU. If they hadn't made this change, just imagine what the iPhone 15 launch would have been like.

BTW apple uses the same screens from last year pro model on their current year base models which are capable of 120 hertz but apple just locked you out of 120 hertz like it's some premium feature only the pro model gets while every $300 Android phone does 120 hertz these days.

I been working mandatory overtime due to this phone, I work at a phone distribution warehouse center called Ceva Logistics we been picking/packing/shipping a insane amount of these phones to stores just on the first day.
I have a 12 Mini but I've always preferred an Android. The iPhone's improving software features has made me appreciate it more, but it never felt as fun or satisfying as Androids so day-to-day. I think this generation finally gave the iPhone that feeling of satisfaction that's tempting me to reconsider, so good on Apple for stepping up their game.
I've had Android since they came out its time for a change for me after using a work iphone for a week, it felt fresh and engaging. I know that new fresh feeling will eventually qear off, but its still different, and now I can get the better Apple watch.

See, I'm going for the blue one in any case but the colours of the past weren't that bad. I already have a purple 14 Pro which was the flagship colour last year and also the most selling one. It was black that was the second best selling and then the blue. So subtle colours are well, ok, for some people but mostly everyone else can be diverse in terms of their choices. And the colours of the past weren't bad either you just personally will pick a lighter shade that's the thing.

What nobody mentioned was really how the action button only came to the pro models-just like the dynamic island last year. I think that the action button may come to the iPhone 16 next year on all models- just like the dynamic island this year.

I like how Apple upgraded from slow usb2 speed 480mbps lightning cable to 10gbps usb c. Now Iphone can have the same charging speed as 2017 android Lmao.

A friend of mine had the HTC Evo 3d phone 13 years ago. Pictures and screen were surreal because of the 3d effect. This is old technology and it’s fascinating they’re going with the vr headset to view them properly instead of on the phone screen itself like was possible 13 years ago.
I was also a proud owner of the HTC Evo 3D back in 2011! Shocked all of my college friends with the 3D effect -- The effect worked on certain games at the time too, and yeah, very similar to VR; It was a surreal feature that just never took off within phones after that.
