I called Samsung support this week. I told the guy his speech was muffled/low quality and it was hard to understand him. He said I was the only customer who said this and everyone else was fine. Glad to see that every Samsung rep Arun spoke to was also indecipherable. Small things like that matter - it made the whole experience much more frustrating.
I did call-centre work for a while and a lot of the internal policies of those out-sourced companies are utter crap. Despite me having some of the best studio-grade audio equipment on the market, they told me that it wouldn't work with their calling software, despite me using it throughout my training (which shocked them) and they sent me Amazon links to some £2 piece of shit USB mic+headphone combo and told me I HAD to use that, or I'd be breaking policy and would risk my job. It's no wonder a lot of these companies, especially ones that are still Work-From-Home, have the people on the other end sounding like they're talking through a bucket of muddy water.
@@els236 Same bro. I've worked for call centers for Apple support and they force you to use a cheap low quality USB headset even though I offered to use my own expensive headset hardware.
@@els236 Jesus that's terrible... Any mic and headphones that can connect to your computer should have worked just fine but nooooooooo MUH POLICIES..... Why is that even a thing is beyond me.
I would love to see more reviewers doing stuff like this, It actually showcases what companies are doing wrong, Also helps consumers identify who is doing better.
It's just fluff, who breaks their phone and then calls the manufacturer to repair it? unless you have a Care Plus replacement plan etc where they immediately ship you a replacement you would be crazy not to get it repaired locally for less money, better data privacy and substantially cheaper. It's actually amusing in this video when Arun says he knows he got his original S23 ultra back because of the rear glass, he was incorrect, samsung would have ripped the internals and put them into a new housing (pretty much a whole new S23) and then glued his original rear glass onto the back of the new Screen / housing.
Lozil if you want i can make a youtube video about how they deal with calls, service cases, and complains. i have been working for most major brands, and they all do the same, it is not only Samsung that is "money hungry" but every major brand, but there are things you can do as a customer to get a better service ;)
@@Panzertank123sk me 😂😂😂 I work in this industry, I own a cracked Huawei P40 Pro that have lines (refurbishing the screen won't work), The Oled aftermarket display is ironically way more expensive when comparing it with a used top AAA grade Huawei p40 pro whole device😂. This means that not only you get a screen, but also the cameras, the motherboard, the Battery, the back glass, the frame. A whole working device. And this is the cost at me, not the final customer😂😂😂
@@Panzertank123 Gotta agree on that, but companies should still have to provide replacement parts for every of their products especialy for the most crucial parts like screens and batteries, and They must provide SCHEMATICS... its expensive for a reason...
@@m3alemmajnoon137 Honestly the advantage isn't necessarily the price But more into availability, which complete pain in the butt on the other spectrum
For clarifcation: Apple devices are sent to a Warehouse in Leicester and typically repaired the day they are received as they have a day to day turn around. The only time it takes longer is if they have to requote you for additional damage. It's very fast-paced considering the 100's of devices that get sent everyday
I don't see as the fault of the people who repair the phones, is the fault of the company and it's care for the customers, I've also had some terrible experiences with Sasmung support and repairs.
As a brokie myself, the amount of pain that coursed through my veins when he shattered both the phones just within 10 seconds is absolutely immeasurable.
I used to work in the industry in Australia, Samsung was notorious for being one of the worst companies to deal with when needing to get a device repaired. They'd make simple mistakes and try to pass the blame. They were the slowest out of all the manufacturers and were horrible to deal with. Apple was always expensive and a pain in the amount of detail they'd want but would get the devices back to us the quickest. This shows me that nothing has changed in all those years.
This is 100% my experience with Samsung. You can count on them to place any blame they can on a third party or the customer themselves. In my 15 years experience working with Samsung through mobile computers and mobile phones they have never once accepted responsibility or held anyone accountable for an error or failure that was definitely their fault.
More companies should hire Operations Analysts to help streamline and refine their archaic processes. It is such an overlooked aspect of running business.
@@ohwhatworld5851 Companies like Samsung have already conducted research and determined acrions like this will not significantly improve profitablity or it would have happened before they, Samsung, decided to be content at being second best.
I'm a Sammy owner and I find it shameful how badly they handled this. Sadly, my own experiences in the past were the same. Luckily my S22 Ultra has been solid to date.
I've only had the joy of getting a repair from Google so far - their process was entirely online, so no call needed and absolutely smooth. They sent a box, it arrived next day (or so), within a week i had it back in a "Hello again!" Box. That little touch of "Hello again!" had me absolutely smiling. Flawless, no complaints. Minimizing the direct human interaction (calls) definitely helped. (Note that even if it was for a company, it would have been the same procedure as an individual.)
On Wednesday I had a chat with Apple Support about an issue with my AirPods. Other person on the chat knew what they were talking about and we quickly got the repair process kicked off. Today (yesterday was a public holiday) someone came to pick up the AirPods to deliver them to the Apple Store. Everything worked awesome so far.
I've dealt with google personally and it was a simple chat on their website they gave me a label i sent it off, i had email updates every step of the way and i could even track where it was. I waited 7 days and it was back with me, in that time they sent it from the uk to poland, "fixed" it and gave it back. However I think i did recieve an entirely different device as my broken device had its IMEI number on the sim tray and a few scratches and grooves in the plastic (pixel 4a with no case) and the one they sent me back had no IMEI number In the sim card tray and also no scratches and as a bonus the battery life was way better than my, at this point 18 month old phone. Overall a great experience.
I had such a horrible experience with them that I vowed to never do business with them. They declined my legit warranty claim and broke my phone while taking it apart, and refused to fix what they broke. I would never buy another Samsung product.
Pretty sure that Samsung & Google is the best you can get in the Android market. Pretty sure that most of chinese smartphones like Xiaomi, Oppo and others would take AT LEAST 1 month, but it is likely that it will take even 2/3 months.
This is the reason why I always go to the repair shops/service centers personally to deposit and collect the phone. Much easier to explain the problem, and much, much quicker repair times (Sometimes they just ask you to wait and repair your phone and give it back to you within 30 minutes). I have dealt with Samsung, Mi, and Micromax, for cracked screens, busted camera, etc. and as long as you physically go to their service centers, you are golden.
My nearest repair centre is a 2 hour drive away so not practicle to visit. I recently had to send my Samsung device in for repair and it took 7 days all in from first contacting them to getting the phone back so not too bad.
Interesting video. Should have had the 'corner shop' option included so a direct comparison could be made with their repair quality versus the big guys.
The quality of the repair itself will be the same. The experience, however, will be much simpler and faster as you are handing over the phone physically. If you hand over the phone to apple and Samsung physically (which you should always do tbh) both repairs will be pretty fast and probably cheaper than the repairs shown in this video
@@saf1729 I don't think Apple even allows aftermarket replacements of anything. iOS nowadays comes with pre-installed ransomware bricking the device if you install non-Apple components. You can't even use original replacements from other Apple products because they serialized everything and they are harrassing you with annoying pop-ups if they detect any serial number that doesn't belong to that device.
8:00 Cloth: NOTHING Phone: Apple Calling: SAMSUNG But I can't believe that Samsung haven't improved a bit even after his old video about customer service form 2 years ago......
4 months late but it’s definitely hard to choose which better since both companies have features that are exclusive to them. They are both amazing device companies.
Its not really hard, while Iphone is expensive to repair, it can be repaired mostly at their side. While Samsung or other androids can be repaired in local repair shops everyhwere in the world, i will be faster this way all the time and cheaper all the time.
Both customer service centers are in the Philippines and the representatives are so difficult to understand it’s just absurd. Siri: teach me Tagalog…..😬🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
This brought back memories of when my Samsung TV needed repairing. Sad to say I had an even worse time, taking months before the repair was carried out. Just a bad experience all together with Samsung support
Happened to me my TV broke make the call Saturday, on Monday it was a Samsung guy at home to check on the TV the TV wasn't repairable and two weeks later they send me the full price of what I paid for the TV and every two days I have a call from Samsung just to let me now they were working in my transaction. I'm from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
Here's where the pros and cons are. If you pay for samsung care then you can go to almost any repair shop and have it done for free that day. Apple doesn't even have that. But Samsung repair shops also do it WITHOUT Samsung care in about 2 days for the same price as sending it in.
@@ljeans531 we picked up the tv gone to the certified samsung repair shop and gave the tv next day they called and gave the tv back they did it for a really good cheap price im from turkey also its always better to give the product you bought face to face its much better when you have a repair shop personal to call
Apple’s repair system seems to fall under the phrase: “In order to maintain the quality and efficiency of our process, we are unable to lower our price.”
It’s the way to get people to get apple care. $29 crack screen and it can be done in store. They have a monthly option or a 2yr plan. Samsung has the same thing but the terrible service won’t.
Good. Apple is the only company where you pay for what you get - quality. Big difference from Samsung - who uses literal hot glue to secure components in their flagship phone to cut costs. You would never, ever - see that in any apple device.
Samsung also have an option where they send a engineer out to you with the parts and repair it anywhere - I had a phone collected and fixed outside my workplace during my lunch break. I'm surprised this was not mentioned in this video.
One thing I'm surprised isn't taken advantage of here is that you can just iMessage Apple. When I had the Airpod Pro hissing problem, I just reached out via iMessage, ran through the troubleshooting, and they sent me a box for my Airpod Pros to look at them. No need to stay on the phone or go through an auto-attendant first. That's what makes Apple's repair process great to me.
I think the most familiar service type for Korean Galaxy users is to visit the Samsung Service Center and get it repaired. The reason is that the repair is usually completed within an hour except for the waiting time, and if you return the broken display to Samsung, the repair cost will be lower.(It costs about $185 to return the S23 Ultra display, but it costs about $62 to sign up for Samsung Care Plus.) So it was a big shot for me to get my phone repaired and wait for almost a week to a month to fix it.
This seems to be a Korean only service. Here in Germany we have Samsung service centers but the dont repair anything on the same day, you have to turn in your phone and it will still be sent to a repair shop which takes at least 7 days.
In Slovakia I can get it into shop where I buyed it or go into Samsung shop where they can look on it and send on repair. Maybe in Bratislava is some Samsung center because there is a one of Samsung development centers but in central Slovakia I know only about stores. And it is still much better option that send it in box somewhere.
I'm a pixel user in Australia and I was really impressed by the customer service I received recently. I was having troubles with charging my device. They agreed to send me a replacement just from a chat within settings. I literally had the new phone before I could send in the old one lol. It's refurbished but nearly brand new. Definitely love the Google pixel customer experience!
That's coz charge port in pixels are attached to the motherboard and hence cannot be repaired. Replacement is the only option apart from the soldering which is not recommended. 😊
@@FaizanKhan-ds4id oh ok that's interesting. Tbh idc as long as I get good customer experience and an outcome with which I'm satisfied. I had to always hold my charger to charge it which implied that a connection was loose in my phone. Was lucky but yeah. Thanks for the info tho!
In the UAE I've had three Samsung screen repairs, all done via Samsung care. All three times I went to a Samsung store and got my phones back within 2-3 hours. For Apple had to get a repair done once and went into the Apple Store and after less than a week got a replacement phone. So far here both have done well for me.

Neither company covers water damage in their warranty as far as I know. You'd be best to avoid getting your phone wet if possible. Also there are apps that use the barometer inside your phone to check if it's still water resistant
I've had broken phones from both companies. There are "authorized service centers" that I've used for them a couple times with 0 issues. With Apple I've set an appointment, walked in, and it was taken care of promptly. Apples service is second to none with the issues I've had. It certainly will vary but the fact that Apple has stores that I can go to make it a little easier.
that doesn't work in developing countries tho and that's why i'll never buy an apple. at least samsung has service centers in the Caribbean but where's apple? i had an apple account many moons ago for itunes and then i stopped using it. wanted to deactivate the account and it was a headache bcuz i dont have an apple device and was locked out of same account. it's ludicrous
Same. Destroyed my iPhone, tried to get it fixed through T-Mobile to no avail, then walked into the Apple store and got a brand new one within 30 minutes. I did pay $100 because I had insurance but it was a 13 Pro Max so that's not bad.
It would be interesting to do an in-store version of this. I agree that Samsung call centers are a nightmare, but have been pleasantly surprised by their 'experience centers'. Had a cracked hinge on my Fold 4 which i took in for repair and it was back with me 2 days later - repaired in store.
My fold 4 take 1 week to book a repair and another 1 week to repair in London. What a nightmare . And they also want to replace my battery but only my screen is cracked
@@octoslut Eh it's not that expensive. With trade in and release deals it was about 500quid with 100quid voucher for the Samsung store. But honestly that's irrelevant. Apple customer care has always been impecable for me, what this video doesn’t cover either is that many Apple customers are within a reasonable distance of an Apple Store or Apple certified repair center like Best Buy and could potentially skip the ship in process and get a same day repair done.

The service center Samsung works with reminds me of a company that does most repairs they do in the Netherlands. It takes long and they often do it bad, so you have to keep resending it a couple of times....

@@alex_ob1 yeah all Samsung authorized service centres use the same press pads that samsung uses to seal their phones to give it back whatever water resistance rating it had previously
I have to say that I had a very good experience with the Samsung service. A few years ago my screen broke in a fall. So I went to the Samsung website and described my damage there in no time. In the end I could choose whether I wanted to send it to Samsung or have the "Samsung Repair Bus" come for 15€ more. For this small surcharge I decided to use the Samsung Repair Bus. He was there the next day, took my smartphone and repaired it in the Samsung Repair Bus within an hour. After an hour I had my smartphone back with a new display and even got a battery replacement free of charge.
Great video - I've recently had to get my fold 4 inner screen replaced/repaired but I took it to the Samsung Experience store rather than do the mail-in. It was back with me in about 5 days, again with new batteries so it was pretty good!
Really depends who you get. In Australia I had an issue with first gen AirPod pros. Took it in and the tech said these have been known to have a similar issue, I won’t even test them and handed a new pair whilst the first were outside warranty.
I fixed my Samsung though 3rd party insurance but directly with Samsung service with shipping out and delivery back in only 4 days and it was during covid with the fold. It costed me with insurance 40Euro. Very pleased.
It probably depends on what country you are in and what services they offer. I’m in the UK like Arun and the time it took him to get his phone back doesn’t bode well.
One thing I can always vouch for Apple is their customer service is always a top notch. From making any tech support call to getting any assistance. Repairs I do agree that they are expensive but again there always very helpful for each step of the way.
You have ZERO clue... and I have said it before, there are MANY MANY that try to switch to iPhone but come back to Samsung, VERY VERY FEW that buy an Android and go back to iPhone...
I feel like the people that move to iPhone do it either by perceived status or because they already have a mac and apple is very good at coaxing people into their eco-system.
@@haak4251 But you are somehow proving his point. Why do you need to keep an Android phone as your side phone, if you already have an iPhone? Because you wanna enjoy the freedom of Android, that you won't get on the iPhone. You have kept an iPhone only for social acceptance.
Yeah, the aim for the video was probably to compare the mail in service mode for repair instead of a walk in service at a nearby service partner which should have been a same day repair
@@globalwarmingisreal311 but the point is availability and how fast it will be done with ORIGINAL parts. But for me this video is great. As it compares first party repairs with technician you can trust.
I have said this many times and I know that this isn't everyone's experience, but generally speaking the customer service experience I had over the many years I used iphones was amazing. Very easy and quick. I never had an issue.
No surprises at all here. My worst experience ever was Samsung. It took 3 years to get a warranty repair! In my case the repair was poor quality too. No apology was given, they genuinely believe we should be grateful for such a terrible service. I work in IT so I now move organisations to Apple, accepting a higher price for a quality service.
I learned a little bit about phone repair at an old job that refurbished iphones and other smart devices and what I've learned is that they've basically built a lot of technology into the screen. A lot more than used to be there. So replacing the screen is much more difficult than it used to be. Also the screen part is tied to the motherboard part on newer iPhones, in such a way that if for example you swapped the screen on two iphones, neither screen will work as it's not attached to ITS screen. Basically this is to prevent third party manufacturers from being able to make new screens for iphones. Let me tell you, it made repairs SUPER DIFFICULT, as a third party company.
I think you should make one where you go into the service centre as 99% of people go physically into the centre instead of like calling up apple or Samsung online , and thats also probably why both of their sites aren't optimised for that
@@greylawson6352 What? I don't know about the US or the UK but here every city in the whole country has Samsung Service centers. And hardly any apple centers.
Hay Arun, at 8:44 and on few places I see you have IP cams installed inside your house. Please be careful because those cameras are very easy to hack. In fact, most IT professionals would not recommend installing IP cameras inside homes unless you don't really care about privacy. Maybe you can do a video on security and privacy concerns of IP cameras (I might do a quick PSA on it on my channel). Thanks for the video.
Thank you for doing this. I had some insane issues with samsung's customer support over the course of 4 months that was riddled with miscommunication and silence. These companies need to get exposed with how bad their customer service system is and need to do a serious restructuring.
After seeing these prices I would still rather go my local tech repair and get this done for maybe a bit more but get my phone back in less than 3 days. Both samsung/apple processes are just too much of a hassle and frustrating to deal with in my experience. They sometimes take too long and there is a very high chance shit hits the fan and your phone gets lost during shipping ( this happened to a friend of mine). Thanks for the reassurance that I am taking the right path.
Apple is more expensive but the experience is so much smoother as a result, plus if you get the AppleCare option when buying your device (or just activate it from your phone settings as a relatively affordable monthly payment) you almost certainly wouldn’t have the big outlay for the repair. Having said that, their packaging was unusually confusing. But the most concerning things in the video is where Samsung didn’t seem to have the correct tracking numbers, which could have ended up with your phone being lost, and you were right to call them out on their structural issues. Even with the second repair attempt actually going smoothly, you were without your phone for over ten days (if I understood the video right) which isn’t brilliant if you don’t have a backup device in the meantime.
Wait, you can activate apple care from the phone? What's stopping someone from damaging the phone, activating the apple care, and redeeming the savings?
@@ben_cavHmm?… nothing. You have like two months after purchasing a iPhone to get AppleCare. Feel free to break the phone whenever in that time period and then sign up for AppleCare and get it fixed for way cheaper.
@prabean69 on an iPhone? Easy as all hell lol. Samsungs are harder, and the "official" way to repair them is an OCTA replacement which is literally a whole frame swap
@@inaraoftyria3878 there are pros in streamlined processes, when you can and want to design everything by yourself and control and own every step of the phone. its like china with its military-civilian public-private fusion, their industries are so smooth, no bottlenecks anywhere.
As a Korean using both iPhone and Galaxy, this video was interesting. There are not any collect things to repair (Samsung has on-site repairs, but Apple doesn't), and everything is done in 1-2 business days (except Apple watch). The difference between here and UK's services is so fun XD

I love Apple support so much
I have sent in two Samsung phones for repair here in Sweden and the experience was a lot better than what you have experienced. The first phone was a Samsung S10+. I just went to the Samsung repair store here in Stockholm. Brought it in around lunch time and some few hours later it was repaired. The second time it was a Samsung S21 Ultra. That process took a little bit longer. The process took some few days from me bringing it in to the actual repair because they had to order the screen. The process would probably take 1-2 days more if I had sent it by postal service though. But nonetheless I guess the Samsung costumer service is a lot better in Sweden than in the UK. :)
I fixed my Samsung though 3rd party insurance but directly with Samsung service with shipping out and delivery back in only 4 days and it was during covid with the fold. It costed me with insurance 40Euro. Very pleased.
Had a warranty repair at Samsung a few months ago and the only thing I can say is that they managed to collect, repair und send my device back within 6 working days, the same as Apple in this video. But I know that consistency is not key at Samsung 😂
This is a great video. I wonder how much quicker going to an Apple Store would have been... Similarly, it would be great to compare some of the other vendors (OnePlus? Huawei? LG?). Apple's support (with AppleCare+) is one of the main reasons I prefer them.
Where I live, it’s quite the opposite. Even though phone repairs are monopolised into one company here (TMX Solutions Kft.), you can definitely feel the difference between the quality of customer service between Apple and Android. And oh, boy, it’s quite the opposite of what people in more developed countries see. Apple’s customer service is horrible and overcomplicated, while Android manufacturers are fast, straight to the point and don’t charge a lot (or even anything) for the repair. Details in my standalone comment on why I hate Apple’s Hungarian Customer Service.
Apple is actually not that dominant i mean yeah it is in america but if you compare it to the rest of the world samsung is the one dominating and as a company they have a lot of other product wich could explain why they make more plus the fact that apples phone screen are made by samsung
The fact that Samsung is most definitely going to improve their customer service experience after this eye opening video makes me like this video and appreciate the effort out into it even more. Consumers are the only party that benifit from competitors competing over their company quality and reputation.
samsung support was dogshit for a long time, they will do absolutely nothing. I had experience with Samsung and their communicatiom was horrible. Now i had issue with airpods pro, apple sent me prepaid box, once they received it, notified by email and they fixed it in just 4 hours!!! Even tbough it’s out of warranty, they did for free. 10/10 customer support and RMA experience. Good luck with that on any android phone
Samsung has been like this since day one, absolute dog shit service...... over the phone. Popping into an experience store is literally the polar opposite, aim for same day repair, at the same price as service centre and every screen swap includes a new frame and battery. The difference between experience stores and service centre on phone is shocking
I have experience with Samsung's customer service. Back and forth for two months, trying to send my s21 Ultra back. Bought the s23 Ultra on Samsung Flex, and then a month later, Samsung just paid off the rest of my s21 Ultra to Klarna and allowed me to keep it. I think they were as tired as me at that point.
only 2 months? I had the same but about 7 months to. clear everything up. Granted that was with upgrade+ so a service on top of the phone, but still. Samsung needs to do better.
I'm from Argentina. During 2023, I sent my Note20 Ultra for repairs to the official Samsung Repair Service. The process was pretty much the same as is shown in the video, however, my experience was a 10 out of 10. They came and took my phone, repaired it, and I got it back to my home in a week. It felt like a brand new phone. After reading the comments, I see that I got lucky, since most of the people have problems with Samsung Customer Service, haha
I found Samsung repairs absolutely superb. The camera on my S21 Ultra stopped focusing, it was still in warranty. I contacted Samsung and a delivery company collected it the next day and I had it back fully fixed two days later.
@LukeSalazar-sh2mpof course because in North Korea, they don’t allow Apple or Samsung Because It’s Associated With America And South Korea, which they both hate
Here in Germany, and I'm pretty sure in other countries as well, you can actually order a (Samsung) repair van that comes to your house and repairs your device. The price is around €200-400, more expensive than send in, but it is the quickest and most convenient way to repair your smartphone
@@RolandKoller90 Still 20 bucks for a Smartphone repair is insane. But I mean your prices are low in general because there is more competition in the US, while we got higher prices, but unmatched customer protection
Great video! I wish more high profile UA-camrs like you would create videos like this, so that maybe the companies would sort themselves out and provide better service!
That's why I love Apple. Yes, more expensive... but try getting your iPhone replaced under AppleCare when you're across the globe - it's a brilliantly seamless experience! I had my phone break in Japan and they recognized my phone was a North American version so they replaced it with that version instead of the Japanese version (which requires a loud flash sound to come on when you take photos to deter voyeur shots). Worth the cost imo.
I recently had my girlfriend's Galaxy Flip 4 repaired and the whole phone call, to get the box shipped and to make a claim, took about negative 7 seconds! I'm not going to lie but I think we actually went back in time, that's how fast and easy the whole procedure was!!! They got the phone back in record time

It's actually amusing in this video when Arun says he knows he got his original S23 ultra back because of the rear glass, he was incorrect, samsung would have ripped the internals and put them into a new housing (pretty much a whole new S23) and then glued his original rear glass onto the back of the new Screen / housing.

Thanks man that’s pretty sad 😶
This is 100% my experience with Samsung. You can count on them to place any blame they can on a third party or the customer themselves. In my 15 years experience working with Samsung through mobile computers and mobile phones they have never once accepted responsibility or held anyone accountable for an error or failure that was definitely their fault.
Honestly the money is worth the process being simpler and faster

Maybe you can do a video on security and privacy concerns of IP cameras (I might do a quick PSA on it on my channel). Thanks for the video.
Would've loved to see you have included an independent repair shop. Would've been good to compare all the options a consumer has.

Thank you for doing this. I had some insane issues with samsung's customer support over the course of 4 months that was riddled with miscommunication and silence. These companies need to get exposed with how bad their customer service system is and need to do a serious restructuring.
Normal, worked for them, that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Apple customer support is far far worse
@@bobmarley7787yet Samsung took a month to fix a simple screen apple fixed in about a week
They really dropped the ball multiple times at Samsung.
Wait, you can activate apple care from the phone? What's stopping someone from damaging the phone, activating the apple care, and redeeming the savings?
@@ben_cav the diagnostics they run I guess
@@ben_cavHmm?… nothing. You have like two months after purchasing a iPhone to get AppleCare. Feel free to break the phone whenever in that time period and then sign up for AppleCare and get it fixed for way cheaper.
a 60 day period after you buy, so if its been over 2 months you cant@@ben_cav
I worked at an apple certified repair center and the tools they give to repair the screen makes it look so easy and fast lol
how easy is it to do a screen replacement?

Yoooo, just wanna say how much I appreciate you making the point of saying how good the customer service staff were and that the issues faced weren't their faults; I work in customer facing telecomms myself and we need more customers understanding we don't make the grand policy desicions
This is why I will always pay for Apple, their service is always spot on and they actually respect you. It’s worth paying the extra to know that you will get the best service! I got my MacBook Pro battery replaced 3 months ago, and yes it was expensive. But it took literally 7 days and all the staff were incredibly helpful and were just amazing!
Same, I've sent in 2 (S7 Edge and my wife's S20 Fe) devices and had them back within the week.
I fixed my Samsung though 3rd party insurance but directly with Samsung service with shipping out and delivery back in only 4 days and it was during covid with the fold. It costed me with insurance 40Euro. Very pleased.
Same here in the Netherlands. Sent in an S8 and S10. Next day pick up, day after return. Seems to be a UK issue

Hi patterz
Had a warranty repair at Samsung a few months ago and the only thing I can say is that they managed to collect, repair und send my device back within 6 working days, the same as Apple in this video. But I know that consistency is not key at Samsung 😂
@cartmansbelly cope lol
Respect! He impales not the cheapest phone, but the most expensive phone that most people cannot afford.
Apple doesn't do repairs in their stores
@@neopabo They do. I got mine serviced last year (iPhone 12, smashed back glass) and it only took about 90 mins.

The fact that Samsung is most definitely going to improve their customer service experience after this eye opening video makes me like this video and appreciate the effort out into it even more.
Consumers are the only party that benifit from competitors competing over their company quality and reputation.
no they wont lol
samsung support was dogshit for a long time, they will do absolutely nothing.
Android fans really tryna search every corner in the universe to find a reason why their product is better than Apple 😂
Samsung has been like this since day one, absolute dog shit service...... over the phone.
Popping into an experience store is literally the polar opposite, aim for same day repair, at the same price as service centre and every screen swap includes a new frame and battery.
The difference between experience stores and service centre on phone is shocking
@@sainedjudger yeah.. The point of my comment completely went over your head.
It is really interesting.
In Korea, Samsung repair service takes 6 hours to 2 days to repair and Apple takes 5 days to 2 weeks.
@LukeSalazar-sh2mpof course because in North Korea, they don’t allow Apple or Samsung Because It’s Associated With America And South Korea, which they both hate
That’s because longer distance and shipping time because they have to ship to apple then to repair center.

I am just surprised that it actually different tho. It is really opposite.

Here in Germany, and I'm pretty sure in other countries as well, you can actually order a (Samsung) repair van that comes to your house and repairs your device. The price is around €200-400, more expensive than send in, but it is the quickest and most convenient way to repair your smartphone
Same here in Denmark.
@RiptideRambo I think they mean a 3rd party does it there. Here in the US it’s Asurion and ubreakifix who does what you’re talking about.
@@RolandKoller90 Still 20 bucks for a Smartphone repair is insane. But I mean your prices are low in general because there is more competition in the US, while we got higher prices, but unmatched customer protection

Random repair shops will do it cheaper and just as well if not better
