Hi guys I hope you all are doing and staying safe. What can someone who is disabled (special needs) do to restrain him/her self in November me and my fiance will be together 4 years and engaged 3 years? We both are 37 years old and have been intimant but as christians we have realized since that we shouldn't of done that. What can we do to stay good at holding back when it comes to having those types of feelings?

It's always been hard for me to hear stories like that where your spouse could be attracted to someone else.... I can hardly think about it without feeling sick to my stomach and full of fear.
For the do you think you missed out on anything getting married young, I'm in a relationship, and one of my best friends asked me about renting an apartment together. I'd pictured living with my parents up until marriage, but I'm considering living with my bestie for a while before getting married. It's something I know she's wanted to do before either of us getting married, so I think it could be an interesting experience. 😁

I think couples have to be honest about this ... with themselves and each other. It's flattering when someone else finds you attractive cause it's a compliment, but when flirting starts that's no bueno.

Helpful to hear Morgan's practical story there... As a single lady in hope of a husband I feel I quite enjoy the freedom to admire attractive guys, often just from a distance (particularly if they don't love Jesus 😉). I do sometimes wonder what it will be like to flick the switch off, so to speak, when married, and stop myself looking. I guess there can be a subtle yet important difference between an innocent appreciation of someone's attractiveness for a moment and a continuation of looking at or dwelling on a person other than your husband, once married.
Come to think of it, kinda like, as a singleton, seeing a guy I think is attractive and then finding out he is married/engaged or heading that way so then turning my thoughts away from him...? Maybe not too dis-similar to that...?

I may be the only old lady on here that has watched a few of your videos. I am not even sure why it showed up in my youtube preferences. But I am glad it did. I am in my 60's and lost my husband about a year and a half ago after 30 years of him being very ill and 44 yrs of marriage. I wish so much we had videos like this to watch when we were young it would have helped us so much. Now that he is gone I see so many things we did wrong in our relationship. And I have so many regrets as did he. Your videos are great, keep making them. You minister to so many. And your advice helps so many people who are struggling with questions on how to improve their relationships.

Always love and appreciate how real and honest you both are. I'd love to find more good friends like that in my life :) On the topic of finding others attractive while being married, I've commented on another video of yours before, but to give my personal feelings on it again, I think it's one thing to think/say something like, "oh, he has a nice smile", or, "oh her eyes are pretty" but I think there's a really fine line on what's appropriate and what's not appropriate. Me personally? If I was married, and at one point in my life, I was engaged, my eyes and heart would belong to my wife/fiancée. Other girls would more or less just be like... Grey blobs to me. Not to say they were ugly by any means, it's just that my heart was with my fiancée, and she was the only girl I ever wanted to think about/see in that way :)

I'm a catholic and living in a mostly catholic neighbourhood, but it's also in a city of very sinful enviroment so it is a blessing to see that there really is a Holy spirit growing, especially through young people. I think I get a Sensor feeling from him just because he seems to be very traditional in the way he thinks. He seems to trust what is tried-and-true rather than to be the type to reinvent the wheel. An INTJ is more likely to have broken the norms or created his own rules, however, I also see how his faith can impact that. I also think he's a bit too outgoing for the stereotypical INTJ, although it's possible still.
Also, he said he was a teacher, and ISFJ's are overrepresented in the field of education.

I admire how real & honest you are! 😊 Thank you for sharing! Could you share some insight? I'm mutually interested in a guy, however, I made a personal commitment to refrain from dating for a set time. Fortunately, he respects that and is still supportive & intentional as a friend. Are you supposed to have all your ducks in a row before you met your future spouse? Like have it all together?
I do know from my parents that God won't send your spouse until you are ready for it. My parents both told me that if they had met earlier in their life that they would not have like each other then. God's timing is wonderful and we all just have to trust that. I don't think you have to be completely "ready for life" so to speak,like having a permanent job or enough money to support the rest of your life or anything like that but He will judge when you're ready. The Bible says that God would not give you something that would destroy you, whether it be temptation or something you prayed for. That's why God doesn't answer all of our prayers by giving us what we want, it may destroy us or lead us astray from Him and His plan for us.
Alayna Barber great answer! I think that’s common sense and also show the Lord is caring as a Father. I never thought of someone destroying me so it’s an interesting viewpoint.
I think God never wants to be predictable in that He doesn't want to be a vending machine that whenever you pay the right amount of the correct money that you will get what you want. I know many people who were not ready for marriage, got married and later wondered how they survived because they were truly not ready. God's timing is perfect, and it is simply and profoundly that. Place it in His hands knowing He has you exactly where you are supposed to be. Keep running after Him and maybe in His will you will see someone running just as fast as you and you can run together. Hope this helps

Paul and Morgan what would you consider to be a tip for introducing a girlfriend to your parents?
*Question:* What are your thoughts on asexuality in light of Christianity/Christian relationships and marriage?
For clarification, asexuality is when someone does not experience sexual attraction. In my experience, I have no desire for that kind of intimacy, and would prefer not to take part in it. However, I would really like to be in a Godly marriage later in life. I plan to adopt and grow a family through that, so I don’t hold getting married to be critical for God’s plan for me. But, because I would like to be married some day, it worries me that I won’t be able to find a Godly guy who would be willing to be in a marriage with little to none of that kind of intimacy. I know that it is created by God and that it is good, so it worries me that it could have effects on long term relationships.
Huh. This is interesting. I'm no expert but it seems that this is just an issue that would require pretty upfront honest with your future partner. There are many men and women who have less desire for sexual intimacy within their marriages and they are still content.

It depends on the couple. Not everything is one size fits all. My husband and I like to be with each other pretty much constantly outside of work. Other couples I know do better within their relationship if they have time apart. I would suggest being very gentle with your partner if you are on opposite pages on this issue. Try to find a compromise that makes each person feel heard and understood. ♥️

One place the lord blessed me is sexual temptation is not a problem for me, even when I’ve Been in situations where people might have issues I don’t, part of it also is me, I’m the most bullheaded person on the planet, I told myself I was waiting till marriage and by god that’s what I’m gonna do, no force on heaven or in hell is going to stop me from sticking to that plan, now if I just had that same control when it came to the other aspects of my life
