- There was a moment of chaos at the sentencing hearing of a white supremacist who killed 10 Black people at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, when a family member of one of the victims lunged at the defendant. Others expressed their deep anger at the gunman, who was sentenced to life in prison. Jeff Pegues reports.

What led to the intolerant cancel-culture attitude of the murderers? Discussing parental and educational laws might be more beneficial than talking about how to deal with weapons. At the end of the day, every misled child can commit a crime.
Now the realization is setting in he is about to spend the rest of his life in prison don't apologize now you're going to get everything you deserve on the inside

As a black person as much as I hate his guts and wishing death for him for what he did, It’s depressing knowing he threw his life away to do something like that. I’m 18, he was the (a year older) same age as me when he committed this act. I’ve seen the same racist memes, talking points and arguments he’s seen. On the internet, 4chan etc. unfortunately it’s easy to fall in that loophole to make you do something really terrible whether it’s racism, xenophobia or anti semitism. Anyways I wish the all of the 10 families had a room with him, I think about the shooting every other day. I hope he rots in prison and thinks about what he did as he gets older.

Never, never understood not liking someone because of race, creed or color. Everyone was welcome and accepted in my community and that continues. Always been able to grasp someone's point of view although I may not agree. RACISM is something I've never grasp.....As a teen traveled Europe and England for 6-7 weeks with a black guy from IL and latino from New Mexico. Both smart and fun. We remained friends for years.

On his behalf, I can say that I'm glad he got a life sentence and he's going to leave that place dead. Otherwise, there would not be other fate than a cruel death by the hands of families that he destroyed.

Life is so Precious and every living mammal on earth has a soul. From Humans to wildlife we only get to be on this earth once. I know capital punishment is a controversial and emotional subject, but in situations like this where we know without any question and with absolute certainty who committed the mass murders I have no problem whatsoever in executing them. Instead, you and I, as taxpayers, will pay for his room and board for decades until he dies. Our money could go to more worthy things than supporting mass murderers.

The only reason I don't 100% support death penalty is because of all the innocent people in prison from false testimony, lying cops, and crooked judges. Even with DNA and cameras we can free them fast enough.
However, there is NO DOUBT this man did it, he filmed himself doing it, he's not a twin, or insane. There is no reason he should not be considered for death but only after years of suffering and work to give back a fraction if what he took from that community. Profit prisons are a scam made to farm innocent people like slaves, but they should work this man to the bone forever.
