I’ve watched a lot of your videos and there very helpful with my mg ZST 2022 Essence.
Was wondering if you could do a video on how to setup and use the voice command button located on the steering wheel. Have seen some apps but they in different languages I don’t understand. I live in Australia

There is no built-in voice command. You can only activate it when Apple CarPlay or ANdroid Auto is connected to use phone voice assistance.

Currently I have an MG ZS with a flat car battery and a rear door still unlocked.
Can you explain how to lock a rear door if the car battery is completely flat?
I understand how to lock the drivers door with the key, however the rear doors dont seem to have visible internal lock buttons to manually lock the door.

Unfortunately I don’t know how to lock it when the battery is flat. It may not be possible.
Hey Jerry your videos have been great and really helpful. I got my ZST Excite last week , love it. A question, do both of the keys have this manual Key blade/stick ? I checked, only one of the 2 keys have this in mine. Could you confirm 😀
Yes it should do. Ask your dealer to fix
Hi Jerry. Thanks for the video. Anyway if we are driving in mid-high speed and the passenger pull the door handle twice. Will it be open? I've tried at very low speed and it was actually opened.
I believe it will open.
Hi Jerry, thank you very much for the information. Jerry, do you know why the tail lights switch on when we switch on the AC remotely via the app? Is there a way to not have them on? Also, why don't the windows close automatically when I activate the car alarm with the windows open? Thank you.

Thanks for the comment. The lights were indicating that something is switched on. Not possible to disable it. Windows can only close inside the car. No remote feature to close it.
Oh, how unfortunate. I really wish MG would consider updating their system. It would be great if they could disable the taillight when the air conditioner is turned on through the app, and also have the windows automatically close when the alarm is activated. It brings back memories of my Hyundai Elantra from 1996/97, which had the fantastic feature of automatically closing the windows when the alarm was engaged.

Great video Jerry, I get a triple horn sound when I get out of the car even with my keys in my pocket or my hand , not sure why is that ? Doors are closed properly boot is closed not sure why it's happening, ideally it should do that if the keys are left inside right ?
Yes, if you left the key in side, it will do a triple horn.
That happened to me for a few weeks after I purchased then I realised it was because I left my spare key fob in the glovebox. Fixed the issue for me :)
Open door only allows 30 seconds and it auto locks. Is there a method to switch the auto lock off or extend more than 30 seconds
Only 30s. No place to adjust.

Hi Jerry! I purchased a ZST and I was curious about the continuous flashing of the inidicator lights if the car is already locked. If I press the lock button on the key fob again after locking it flashes about 15 times. Just curious as to what this means? Is it just for owners to know that it's locked from a distance?
It is "find my car" warning system. I will do a video on this next time.
Hi, I just bought a ZS EV and the rear passenger door cannot be opened from the inside. While I've tried to release the handle twice, and my central lock system is in 'unlock' status, it can be opened only from the outside. Any recommendation in solving this problem? Thanks mate!

Is there a button sequence to open all the windows (to cool the car down). I know you can turn on the A/C remotely as well.
Not available for the ZS EV or ZST range.
Hi, Jerry. I have issue with my tailgate, it’s not locking even right after closing it with 3 flickering lights, you can still open it without clicking the unlock key. What can you suggest to me?
That’s because you have the key with you. The sensor got the key then the boot will be opened. Throw the key far away from the car then try open the tailgate.

It has alarm that's all I know :D
And also one more thing , when the car is locked , and if I try to open the boot with the handle it opens with that loud horn sound again , I guess it should not open at all in the first place right ?
Best to shoot a video and upload on UA-cam then try tag me. It’s hard to tell what your sound is.

I used to own the mitsubishi outlander phev. On its kers, it could disengage the kers at level 4 allowing me to coast without regen or power. Is there any way to modify the kers on the mg zs ev trophy to do rhe same in level 1?
Short answer is no.
Is it possible to make the car beep for lock & unlock when we press the lock /unlock using remote?
nope
If you take off the cover for the door key - it is extremely difficult to get it back on - so only do this when absolutely necessary

You mean auto lock after driving. You cannot deactivate that feature.
How to lock the door when outside while engine is running? Car is MG ZS.
