Is the ALTI effected by the air pressure as well? because I calibrated it to my house and a week later it was 20mts out? if this is the case, then it's useless as it wont tell me my correct altitude?

This watch calculate altimeter based on barometric pressure..yes it will depend on our location. To see correct elevation, try check web www.whatismyelevation.com and calibrate the watch accordingly.

Whenever I press the light button the light button turns on but pushing any other button makes the light turn off is there a setting for this or just poor design?

Its the same with me,but not sure if theres a setting for that it might just be because yr giving a different order to the watch so the light auto closes,check out the little book might find the answer there!
