I guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know a method to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid lost my login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
@Kamari Kai thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Wow great video!!!!I just got back from the Fraser fishing sturgeon. This video gets my heart pumping after catching a 9 footer I appreciate now how they take the bait!plus I subbed as well Cheers and thx for sharing!!
Oh. My. God. This is my new favorite video on UA-cam!!!! So so cool, these fish are amazing, great job with the video. I can hardly wait to see more!!!
Honestly, I can't really picture sturgeon eating live fish in my head. Everybody says they do, but given the position of their mouths and how slow they seem to move I can't picture them eating any live fish
Horse and deer don't eat birds or squirrels either but there is the odd ultra rare video of it occurring. I think it's probably the same for the sturgeon... the little fish swim away too fast to get sucked up by the white sturgeon and their down facing mouth, but in the muddy fraser river water maybe the odd little fish doesnt notice or swim away from the sturgeon and gets sucked up.
That was an awesome video I want to go try fishing for sturgeon. I can't believe I have lived here for so many years and haven't tried the fraser sturgeon yet.
Hey, cool footage! I'm just wondering what type of camera you used? I am working with a crew doing sturgeon research and we're looking into doing some more underwater video work.
I know it's super late but sturgeon are really popular to fish for, they live for a very long time and since they are such a large fish you dont get a huge population living in one area, all this means that these fish get caught a lot and look out for the line and sinker and anything that seems off.
Once again, sturgeon showing why they are so hard to catch. You can have the tastiest of morsels on the hooke, but when they see bulky line and rigging, the jig is up! They know its a trap and act accordingly. Fish are far more intelligent than we give them credit for.
I wouldnt call it intelligence. Most creatures from bugs to Horses will learn based on positive or negative reinforcement. Sturgeon live a long time and it makes sense that they eventually figure out that when they feel fishing line/hook with the bait that it's not safe to eat.
I've caught and ate them from the Columbia river in oregon/Washington they are the nest tasting fish, or maybe even the best meat at all, I've ever tasted
These fish are so used to being hooked over and over, thats why they ditch the bait when they sense even the slightest resistance of fishing line or weights. They are very smart creatures
Sturgeon fishing is illegal in most places as they are endangered and they are a protected species, their species has been around for over 200 million years there are many other fish to go for please leave the sturgeon alone. if not then i hope you get fine, {Poaching a sturgeon is punishable by 30 to 180 days in jail, fines from $500 to $2,000, court costs and $1,500 restitution to the state} for those in the US idk about Canada
It is only legal to catch and release sturgeon in the Fraser and in some cases, it is the most practical and ethical way of studying their population size (tagging and such). They are generally endangered species in most places but the local population in the Fraser is large enough to support a catch and release fishery which also helps with their preservation of the species as it spreads awareness and helps fund recovery projects through license sales.
where this is filmed it is legal to catch and release and the fisherman around here are respectful of how they handle them and release them ! this is Canada...there will always be bad apples but for the most part we try to respect nature i think.
Their eyes look so innocent. We really need to conserve this species.
@Wu Kong lol a little aggressive but true, I agree.
Lmao🤡

The smaller fish are northern pikeminnow and prickly sculpin. Also a rocky mountain whitefish at 6:14
thanks for identifying the names of the other fishes in the cam
There was an evil goby as well
Bullhead too
Wow great video!!!!I just got back from the Fraser fishing sturgeon. This video gets my heart pumping after catching a 9 footer I appreciate now how they take the bait!plus I subbed as well Cheers and thx for sharing!!
Great video! I do a lot of sturgeon fishing near my home river the Willamette in Portland, Oregon. Always wondered what it looked like down there!

Tight Lines !!
What camera if you don't mind me asking 😊
Way to cool. Thanks for sharing. What kind of camera did you use & what type of recording device did you use?

Absolutely AWESOME video,.....well done!!!!!

Hey man sweet footage. At what depth was the camera?
It's around 20 feet
@@sturgeoncanada2428 Tnank you!
Awesome thanks for this makes me feel better now when all I see is single bumps all day
How did you rig up the camera if you dont mind me asking?
Suprising how much they work a bait like Carp. Bottom feeder delight.
nice one video, new friend here
Are you watching this live on the app as its in the water?
New sub. GREAT video and very telling on how they respond.

Rig would be better with a sliding back lead stopped about 4 foot above the bait as the Sturgeons nose keeps hitting the line and spooking it.
What do these fish taste like?
No idea they’re illegal to keep in the fraser river
It's catch and release, they're pretty much endangered, just like the Alligator Gar.,
I've caught and ate them from the Columbia river in oregon/Washington they are the nest tasting fish, or maybe even the best meat at all, I've ever tasted
Do the sturgeon feel the hook and keep spitting it out????
These fish are so used to being hooked over and over, thats why they ditch the bait when they sense even the slightest resistance of fishing line or weights. They are very smart creatures
Awesome vid of they're behavior. How deep
Wonderful
AWESOME
Are those Whitefish nibbling on the fish head?
Not whitefish. Northern pikeminnow.
Actually after 6:14 in the video a rocky mountain whitefish passes by.
There’s no northern pike in the Fraser River.
SO lame to hook a unknowing fish with a baited hook. There is no honor in it.
We are looking to buy fertilized sturgeon eggs. How does the process work, and would you be able to ship it to California?
Illegal to sell wild sturgeon
twas a big fish!
Wow it’s cool how. He are it
go away. baitin!

For those in the US? All legal to catch and keep sturgeon here in California.
vadim97v I also said in most places not in all places I'm in New York and it's illegal here as it should be cause their endangered
