I cut my top elastic strap and it goes on smooth and still very comfy and can see the tongue better !!!!!!
I'm definitely about to do that beecause it really is a hassle to put them on. You don't even need the laces at this point.

Yeah, it seems like they be making these newer Barkley’s so much tighter and harder to get on my feet than the older ones that came out like 10 years ago! I can’t even get my new Red, White, & Blue Barkley’s that they released in 2021 in size 12 on my feet, but the all Black and the Black & Purple ones that I had like 10 years ago fit me perfectly without any struggle to get on whatsoever.

Just bought me 2 pairs. Pain in the ass to get on, but probably one of the most comfortable shoes ever. The toebox has plenty room and bends effortlessly. Great to play ball in for the summer.

I put a screwdriver through the loop on the back, hold it in my hand, then put my foot in. It holds the sock liner from falling into the shoe when my foot goes in. It’s tedious but once it’s on, they feel good.
