yeah!!!! I use to ride the bus with this one cat who had a pair and I wanted them soooooo so bad!!! I fainted when this uppity clown had a pair of chicago 9 IX's!!! He was happy to have them on , I could tell he wanted to smile.

This is the logic that has completely screwed sneaker culture. I'm all for you making your money on big hype shoes. But it's the $10 you make on this shoe after fees and shipping even worth it? I'm about to give up on ever buying anything at this point.
Very well said I’ve had this thought for a while but never knew how to say it. It really is a shame that even general release shoes are bought up just for people to sell for over retail.

I was living in Portugal, and a sophomore in high school when these came out. I felt like the coolest kid in the country rockin my black NY Giants pull-over Starter jacket and my all black Air Max2 CB94’s. Life was good!
The black pair is an all time top 3 shoe for me! I’ll never forget rocking these when I was 14.
I wish NIKE WOULD JUST FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR, 1 SHOE FOR EACH MONTH MAKE ENOUGH OLE SCHOOL'S SO THAT EVERYONE COULD GET A PAIR FOR THE SAME PRICE THEY RETAILED FOR ON THEIR ORIGINAL RELEASE... this shots getting out of hand.

I think this shoe is like a 7.5 out of 10. Deftly like the Griffeys a lot more, there a 10 out of 10 for Me.
I'm with you Mr Foamer Simpson. This silhouette it's one of my top ten of all time, but I prefer the OG colourway Black, white and purple. I still remember the television commercials back in the summer of '94.

I copped a pair of the black and purple joints. Dope af! But, I can't stand putting em on. The inner bootie always gets pushed down by my heel. Even while using the pull loop. Sometimes I fell like the pull loop is gonna rip or come unstitched.
Had the OG release as a kid. Sole air unit popped on day 2 and returned for a new pair. Same thing happened. Was an awesome shoe but creased horribly.
Those are nice I'm 38 and this pair brings me way back. A few yrs I purchased my pair and I just put them on rotation along with my ken griffeys and my DT max 96 Deion Sanders I'm on my 90s vibe.

Definitely a classic. Only reason I didn't cop was because I got the carmines. I hate when they drop multiple sneakers that I want so close together. I will definitely be copping.

The all black Barclays are probably one of the best all black sneakers ever made
Don’t get me wrong because I think these are fly but it blows my mind that basketball players in the 90s wore such chunky sneakers to hoop in. I know everyone did it like that because I started watching the NBA in 1993. I can’t imagine someone today playing in such a chubby shoe.
