i remember when i got this video on my recommended last year. its been a year now. im a huge touhou fan from overseas. love the official games and ZUN's compositions as well, so when i saw this i instantly listened to all of it. when i watched this my first impression was... 'this really looks like ZUN made it'. including the drawings. i was truly amazed by the hard work put into all these music tracks and the different games' art & music style. if this was an actual game, i'd really love to give it a try. the concept in it is so unique, as i've never seen such a plot before in the universe of touhou. i just want to say looking back to this has brought me unbelievable nostalgia and i feel tons of joy to hear these melodies again. i was on vacations last year when i listened to this OST, and somehow it started to have a big meaning to me, especially the ending theme. it reminds me of so many good memories. the beautiful piano along with the flute-sounding little melody and drums, not to mention the rain sounds too, makes me feel like i was left alone in some rainy place, maybe a forest or a small valley. its as if there was a mystery yet to be solved, or anything that's missing, as you watch the clouds create a dark mist in the sky and you get covered in raindrops. it's somehow laid-back, you're tired and need some rest. I've thought this also sound like a bad ending theme too, as it's kind of sad. hard to explain. but it works the same when you fail your task and used one or more continues in the game. that's the ending you'd get. the feeling is captured really well in the song. props to the music composer for making it. it's got to be one of my favorite tracks from this fanmade OST. (i still can't believe it's fanmade. it's astounding.) the team behind this masterpiece did an excellent job. even though it's unofficial, i can't stop listening to it as something ZUN made. it's really amazing. thank you SO much for uploading this.
