After researching more about her, I seriously think this character is a "reincarnation" of Mima. A vengeful spirit who was once sealed in Former Hell who hates the Hakurei shrine maiden sounds a lot like our favorite green-haired ghost. I hope we get more information about her as Chireikiden continues.

Akyuu really isn't much of a figther so I doubt it unfortunely, I hate Kosuzu tho her last moments on her own manga implied that she may or not help Reimu and co resolve incidents in the future(maybe in another phantasmagoria game who knows lol), but yet again it has been 5 years since Kosuzu's manga ended and we havent seen her since so- :)

Kosuzu and akyuu doesn't really have magical powers other than their abilities. Iirc, reimu forbids kosuzu from doing any of youkai scroll related things unless with supervision and reimu would probably kill her if she turn into a youkai. But, there is a possibility that she will return in a game with the evil dragon promising to give her and marisa both powers or something like that.

Furthermore, reimu will probably kill her if she ever turns into a youkai, because in forbidden scrollery if mamizou didn't convince reimu to leave it her kosuzu might be dead.

Yes, it does. The Palace of Earth Spirits is at least partially built to contain the many vengeful spirits in Old Hell. And she broke out. That's why Satori and Orin kind of have a personal reason to help out here.

Still with her introduction ZUN kinda ruined the story because it's hard for us to tell what kinda grudge she has towards Reimu and Gensokyou in general it appears to be just another mischievous spirit unless they Intend to give her a back story that relates somehow to Reimu making her an interesting villain.
