This is my favourite performance on UA-cam, absolutely fantastical rendering of this piece and an incredible mix as well. Such intelligence and dynamic empathy really make this an incredible work for our times. Absolutely love the mix of more simplistic pentatonic passages and fifths alongside more complex scalic melodic exploration, I'm in awe!

I congratulate your interpretation. Maestro Berry, what velvety notes from 3:32...I rarely hear such luscious notes from a string instrument.

This sounds to me like a take off of French Impressionism. I've never heard this piece. But, really like it.

I would love to see the violist's bow markings and phrasings. The score is rather barren.
Stop putting that horrendous artificial reverb on the recording and let us hear the instrumentalists as they actually sound.
Some idiots need to waste their time with that crap. I agree that it is unfortunate. But the world is filled with idiots, I guess.
To hear how they "actually sound" you must attend a concert. All recording is by nature artificial.
I agree that this recording is way overproduced. Wonderful performance though.
Jared Redmond at wich part the reverb is too porwerful to your taste tho? To me it just sound beautifully mixed
