Also, I may be wrong, but I think you've managed to skip autumn and winter for an entire year. You moved to Australia during canada winter, then was in japan for spring, austin for summer, toronto i think was end of summer, then back to Australia for their spring/summer, and now DC for spring time. I don't know why, but I find it interesting that you've managed to do that, probably because I'd do the opposite 😂

To maximise the life of cut hydrangeas, before putting them in a vase, you can totally submerge and soak the full blooms in a large sink or bucket of water for a couple of hours. Cut the stems on an angle, get yourself some alum, aka pickling spice, dip the freshly cut stems in the alum and put them in a vase of fresh water with some flower food added.

Hello! watching your whole process of moving to Washington has definitely given me tips with my move to london. just wondering if you could explain how you keep your australian number with Optus? can't wait to see more of this new chapter x
So basically I switch it to prepaid. You just have to add credit every 90 days. So I will do the cheapest $12 option. They used to have long credit options but they got rid of them. Essentially if your prepaid is inactive and not had a recharge for 90 days they'll cancel your service. So thats why I'll do the $12 every 90 days.
I have a dual sim capable phone. So I have an esim for optus. I have it switched on but have the data roaming switched off. This means I can't use the internet with it but its still active and allows me to receive calls and messages. For whatever reason at this stage Optus does not charge for receiving messages and calls while overseas.
I then have my other sim, in this case my american sim switched on as well and I set that sim to the default so I can use the internet and make calls etc with that number.
I do this so I can maintain all my 2 factor authentication

Hi Rachel I am crossing my thumbs for you! However there is one thing I don't understand. Could be because I'm German and I am not familiar with how appartment hunting works in the US. I was just wondering how you can be sure to actually get an appartment so quickly? Aren't there a million competitors applying for the same appartment?
Thank you ❤❤ here in DC there is a surplus of apartments. Back home in Melbourne its really hard to get an apartment right now because theres so few places available and so many applicants. Its just the opposite here. Hundreds of new apartment buildings and not many people looking ❤❤

@chriscc8517 depends on what area you are in. Some areas are not safe for a woman alone. But I'm sure she lives in a safer area and I'm sure her boyfriend has warned her about it all.
