The pictures and stories are all fake. This channel is AI generated. That's why every single person telling a story sounds exactly the same (in terms of word choice and how they structure information) regardless of if the writer is supposed to be Japanese, American or German.

21:00 - 22:00 The way it describes what America thought it would take to finish the war against Japan at that point is interesting because it can be interpreted multiple ways. One way is that America overestimated its opponent and their strength at that point. Another is that America believes there is no such thing as too much, only such a thing as too little. Another that comes to mind as an American is the saying 'never underestimate your opponent it might be the last thing you ever do'. Another is to view it as America viewed Japan as fighting so hard and with seemingly little regard to safety and/or recklessness that we didn't trust them at all and did not want to underestimate what they might still pull out of their bag of tricks. You might even say that we saw a similar way of thinking in our opponent because we clearly believed they were willing to fight to the death for every last inch and America had already done so for this land at least three times in it's history and they'd given us no real reason to believe they wouldn't too for theirs.

I really like these, but the pronunciation makes it very difficult sometimes.
