Navon Myhand This is all pure speculation and all, and I know I'm taking this way too seriously. But assuming that Kamui Dimension has the same micro-organisms(specifically decomposers) as in regular earth, the fly would decompose at some point. Also, I'm assuming you could just throw the fly into the cracks between all the blocks in Kamui DImension and you'd never see it again. Personally, I think it's just a bottomless pit, but the same conclusion could be had if it was just a really long drop.

Kakashi showed he could teleport himself into/out of the kamui dimension. When Kurama gave him Chakra and threw him at obito who then sucked him into the kamui dimension. Kakashi was able to teleport himself out of the dimension after getting a few good punches off on obito
It would be so easy to explain that Kakashi or Madara could've created a Shadow Clone to use Kamui on the real body to send themselves into the Dimension with the left eye, I'm not sure how Kishimoto never even considered this...

What I think is madara created a kamui portal close to him to pull himself inside the dimension and since the portal was so close to him it just seems like he was using the right eye abilitiy when in fact it was the left eyes abilitiy madara was just smart enough to use the ability like that

It's like a toggle. You're either in attack mode or defence mode. In defense mode nothing can hit you, assuming they're regular attacks from the normal world.
The trade off is you can't touch anything either, you go through them automatically. In attack mode you can grab people and teleport them, and yourself if you choose.
So the way you beat it is to get him to attack, then hit him before he can flip that switch to defense mode.
Another way is to just keep him in defense mode for 5 minutes non-stop. After 5 minutes he can't keep defense mode up anymore and the switch flips to attack mode, making him attackable.
@@haku8135 I remember Obito’s fights with Minato and Konan, but all of the good jutsu got cooldowns; Shinra Tensei: 5 seconds minimum, Kotoamatsukami: 1 day for an implanted suggestion, 10 years for complete mental restructuring (without Hashirama cells), Amaterasu: how ever long you can go with out blinking (lol).
Kamui’s use time limit it 5 minutes of continuous use before it lapses, and it’s SO powerful that Obito INSTANTLY went from ‘Dead Last’ to top 10 in the world! I don’t care how arbitrary the cooldown is (like Amaterasu), I refuse to believe that it doesn’t have one AT ALL!
@@christopherfleetwood5252 First of all, Obito was far from "Dead Last". He was an embarrassment, FOR AN UCHIHA, but compared to for example Academy Naruto, and even Genin Naruto, he was a lot better. He could actually spar with Kakashi for a while, as opposed to Naruto who got beaten in one move. Obito also mastered the Fireball jutsu and a few other fire style jutsu as a Genin, which is very impressive. Compared to the brilliant Uchiha he wasn't especially talented, but he was still a fine ninja.
As for Kamui, keep in mind, Obito was about HALF composed of HASHIRAMA CELLS from the moment he unlocked his Mangekyou to his death. He reduced the chakra cost to negligible, only had access to ONE eye and therefore couldn't use the full potential of the mangekyou, the most intensive ability, Susano'o.
His left eye could also have been more chakra intensive at base, it is a ranged attack after all, that can't be cheap in general. He also mitigated the blindness aspect so he could use it as much as he wanted. If he were just a normal Uchiha with a normal Uchiha body, he'd have gone blind in if not his FIRST fight against all the mist shinobi, well before he ever MET Kakashi a second time with how much he spams it. Him being half Hashirama turned a very powerful Jutsu (in a pinch) into "Screw you bitch, i'm immortal".
So, the cost would be the high chakra demand and the inevitable blindness.
Hashirama cells FIX high chakra costs and inevitable blindness. Like, they even fixed IZANAGI blindness, you know eventually.

@Fingernail Scene kotoamatsukami and kamui are both top choices, though the concern I'd have with having koto is that if anyone ever finds out you have it, and knows what it does, they'll probably never genuinely trust you again due to koto's nature and ease of use. sure you could koto them to make them trust you, but that's kind of why they wouldn't, and part of the point really.
One of my favorite little things is the slight foreshadowing that happens earlier in the show. When Kakashi teleports away Deidara’s arm, he actually sends it to the dimension, but we as the audience don’t know that. So when Tobi “found” it, he actually just ejected it in a bush he was looking into. Which is fucking cool.

I do recall Minato failing to react to the orb and getting hit in the late war. So Obito can easily kill Minato with full-speed Kamui. It won't even be a close match.

Really, the only people able to best him at that point is probably Minato and Hashirama, given that they can hitashin before the kamui gets them.

In theory even with just the right eye it should be impossible to defeat him because if he somehow feels threatend or runs out of chakra he could just escape into his Kamui dimension and wait for his chakra to fully return while being unreachable.

Remember guys, Obito had his Mangekyo enhanced by Hashirama cells, which reduced the chakra consumption, cooldown, and bleeding/pain costs. Long story short, Kamui isn’t normally used like that.
Madara also has Hashirama cells.

Consider it like a phone with a charger. If the phone is by itself, it'll work like it should, for a certain time. After that, you'll need to heal/charge it. If the phone is on the cable, it'll work just as good, but for longer.

Kakashi actually tried doing that with Deidara. He didn't aim for his arm, he MISSED. He was aiming at his head and Deidara moved too much and he couldn't keep the portal placed properly.

Obito can spam kamui cause he has hashirama cells. Basically he has external ms except not really. He can just Spam kamui as much as he wants and just regen
You forgot that while Kakashi has never teleported himself IN to the Kamui dimension, he has teleported himself OUT of the Kamui dimension when he and Naruto were fighting Obito simultaneously, so the left eye is in fact capable of close range teleportation even though it's rarely used (he also teleported himself out just after Obito has the Ten Tails removed in an attempt to kill him). The MASSIVE plot hole surrounding Kamui for me is that Obito, the jutsu's creator, stated that he couldn't use Kamui while he was the Juubi Jinchuriki for as yet unknown reasons, yet Madara, who was the Juubi Jinchuriki at the time and had never possessed Obito's eye before, just ripped that shit out of Kakashi's head, slapped it into his own skull, and then immediately used the jutsu...... like how the fuck do you explain that lmao

Sigma0426A I'm late but I think I have an answer. Obito said he can't pass through objects with the Ten Tails inside him. Madara could use it maybe because it doesn't phase him through matter, it's just him simply opening the portal and teleporting to the Kamui world.

Late as response but Madara also had a more complete ten-tails in him since he had most of the eight-tails and half of the nine-tails.
That could've helped too. Obito's form looked way less complete with all the cracks and what not.
Let's just say Kakashi is still trying to master it up until he met Obito again in the 4th shinobi war. He stuck with Obito long enough(both fighting and fighting alongside each other) to gain the full understanding and mastery of Kamui. As for Madara's case, he trained Obito so of course he'd try to know his Mangekyo Sharingan well enough to help him. Another thing, if you notice during Sasuke's fight with Danzo, Obito tried to use Kamui from a long distance to stop Danzo's killing blow while giving Sasuke enough time to free himself. So in short, both eyes can do the same thing long/short range etc. It's just that one does it better than the other while the latter does it better than the former.

How does everyone in the naruto series who unlock the Mangeko sharingans ablilties (except for sasuke) know the names of the abilities they have unlocked, these include Kamui, Amatarasu and others to.
It's a shounen anime, that's why. But if you're looking for a logical reason, then they probably named the abilities themselves.

I'd imagine that all these abilities have actually popped up before. Zetsu described Itachi's abilities once as if he was recalling it from somewhere else, so it'd make sense, weird as it may seem.

Then it seems like he's bad with female characters since all you named were male. Besides, I don't see how Sakura was useless in any way. She saved Kankuro's life by creating an antidote to a poison nobody else could make. She kept Naruto alive long enough for him to get the other half of the Kyuubi, which most likely nobody else in the entire anime but Tsunade could do. She kept a lot of the army alive during the fight against Madara and Obito, and most likely Naruto would've lost due to his fatigue but didn't since Sakura kept healing him. She also healed him after he went four tails against Orochimaru. Without a medic nin, Naruto would've died long ago.
Kishimoto just did her dirty with character development and stuff like that.

In terms of Madara using the left eye to enter the kamui dimension, I've always held the belief that he used the left eye's ability to create a portal, and then just walked in

After the tailed beasts were pulled out of Obito and he lay there defeated, Kakashi teleported on top of Obito from the pocket dimension. All Kakashi had to do was place his hand up to his face/left eye causing his focal point to be right next to him. I don't remember how Madara did it but both eyes are capable of teleporting one's self in and out.

We even see him do more in The War, prior to getting Kurama's chakra, and he's relatively fine, despite, again, having been battle worn and using chakra costly techniques.
Adam J. Harper Well, actually, we know more training allows you to utilize your ability better. While the chakra cost doesn't lower by huge amounts, it would logically depend on how Kakashi intends to Kamui. A small one shouldn't be cost heavy, even for him.
Also, spam is a bit much, he was fatigued multiple times throughout the fight, and bleeding out of his eyes. It's not like he was Obito levels of spam.
I always had a theory that after the events of the boulder, obito tried to kill himself with kamui, but instead discovered the kamui dimension, which might have motivated him to keep on going.

nnynaruto it's not a plot hole. Left kamui opens a portal and it doesn't have to be far away. The difference is that right kamui keeps things together naturally as they get absorbed but left kamui tips them apart naturally.

When Guruguru unwrapped off of Obito's head, the blood near his eyes couldn't have come from the enemies-it might've stained his robe, if it dripped down off of Guruguru, but there's no way it'd land on his face like that. Therefore, the blood on Obito's eye did come from the Mangekyo awakening.

Kamui was broken, but wouldn’t have been nearly as overpowered under standard conditions. Hashirama’s DNA and Rikudo chakra pushed it over the edge. I’d imagine that without Hashirama’s cells, an MS user with Kamui would go blind very quickly between intangibility, teleportation, and long-range warping. And the Perfect Susano’o with Kamui wouldn’t have been possible at all without the sage chakra.
Probably would be possible if Obito had access to both of his eyes. He has Hashirama cells so I'm sure he can conjure Perfect Susanoo with Kamui.

I think there were a few nitpicks I had in this video but nothing substantial for sure. You definitely covered Kamui well.
However, one bit of extra information I may add is that the Databooks state that Kamui is a sealed space, so as you'd probably guess, there should be no way to escape Kamui dimension other than via Kamui itself. Meaning no summonings or anything of the sort should be able to bypass Kamui.
Also, this is kind of up in the air since I'm sure it got retconned in the 4 Ninja War arc, but Kamui was able to let Obito teleport in the early parts of Shippuden. As seen when he teleported over to Sasuke after the Itachi vs Sasuke battle and also when he teleported into the Five Kage Summit.
